While the Chinese communist oppression of the crypto-world is unfolding, please note that only the HUSH holders haven't lost their hard earned fortunes. Grin

They haven't lost anything because nobody is trading Hush, almost no ones wants to buy it and miners don't sell because of a potential rise.

You guys should try mining on madmining.club it has been very stable for me for a long time now and also no fees and a very low tx cost.

The problem seem to be resolved now.
I'm not switching away from Suprnova. It's a trustworthy place and I'll continue supporting it.

Supernova is a quality pool with a small fee, active dev(s) and cool features. We only ask the peers to support other quality pools out there too. My personal favorite is MadBuda's pool. It is similar to supernovas quality, but no fee and a strong Cypherpunk community. The simple fact is, the possibility IS there. It is no one's exact fault, but being awesome developers really. Suprnova use to be 70+ % of the makeup of pools.

Was a Loadbalancer issue. SN admin had to reboot it and issue was fixed.

It occurred with me... Note that suprnova has changed the stratum from zdash.suprnova.cc to hush.suprnova.cc (zdash still work, but idk till when)

The error has been stopped when i changed the stratum in miner.

Have a nice day.

Thanks for the thumbs up and support, SuprNova is a quality pool, but it was my motivation to build my own pool.

If you look at the pool fee, 1% is not much (0% is less), but you are also paying 0.01 HUSH per transaction. SN states this is a network fee, but as you can see from the block explorer this is not the case. a hush TX default rate is 0.0001 and by running a popular node you can look at the mempool to find the lowest possible rate to get a tx confirmed. My average tx fee is 0.00004 HUSH over the last ~500 payments.

0.00004 / 100 miners = 0.0000004 hush per miner per payment
40 block (avg a day) * 0.0000004 tx fee = 0.000016 a day in total fees paid per avg miner

1 month mining with me = 0.00048 in fees*
1 month mining on SN = 4.8 in fees*

* this is using 0.05 payout threshold, yes I am aware that you can let SN hold your coins for less tx. even if you had 1 payout a month you are still paying more than it is costing SN to send the tx

example of a SN payout https://explorer.myhush.org/tx/fa2e755592ae9f1a063ad6133f14aab9ead20bd91eade6d3697cfab99b6ca171 you can see the tx fee is not 0.01 HUSH

Regardless of all this info, if you like mining on SN stay there, if you want to support the coins network and help in decentralizing the hash then I say pick another pool

My pool, Mining Speed, and Luck pool are all great alternatives.

I prefer to mine on an established pool with advertised fees.
I'm not going to start believing that those 0% fees pool are doing it from the goodness of their heart.
