I am starting to think that it is unfortunately, I had several friends test and none of them are being attributed to my account at all.

I can confirm that the OP actually cares! Checks it for you and replies personally. They are 100% legit I can confirm.

Last request for this post. I think that there is a bug with the registration form. I registered with an email which has a dot before the @. I received the verification link OK and was able to login. Then I realised that my email is used without the dot.

Did you encounter this before? We can continue the debugging via PM or email if you wish.

Regarding sign up or sign in issues at https://wcex.co

If you're seeing an error when signing up such as "Referrer was banned for spam" or "Account not found" or "Account already used", please make sure:

- you're using a real email, and not using a disposable email service to register

- you're not double registering with the same IP

- you're not signing up through a spam referrer, e.g. through advertising software, ad viewing sites, automation, automated clicks, scripting, etc.

These are spam prevention measures. For other issues, please email hello@wcex.co and we'll be happy to assist you!


Also: if you have "." in your email username, try signing in without the ".". E.g. if it's john.smith@gmail.com, try johnsmith@gmail.com.


We're seeing an inordinate amount of traffic and sign ups – the sign up form should handle this and scale without issue. You can track signed up users in real-time on the front page of https://wcex.co where it says "33,810 people have signed up for WCX."

My friends are signing up without issue. Not sure what the person above is complaining about. Just make sure your friends verify their email for your ref to be added.

You can also track WCX mentions on Twitter, referrals are going through for everyone.

And don't FUD. Many of us now own WCX tokens and if you have something negative to say make sure you back it up with proof or at least contact support before spewing BS.

- you're using a real email, and not using a disposable email service to register

- you're not double registering with the same IP

- you're not signing up through a spam referrer, e.g. through advertising software, ad viewing sites, automation, automated clicks, scripting, etc.

These are spam prevention measures. There are likely more than a few spammers, duplicates, disposable emails, etc. who have signed up over the last few days to take advantage of the free tokens. We'll be working on identifying and disabling them over the next few days.

Two questions:

Will WCX tokens have any voting rights (kind of like DICE tokens?)

I assume dividends will be paid out in multiple currencies.  Will they be deposited onto your exchange account and you can withdraw as normal or will they be sent directly to an address that the holder specifies?
