Random crap isn't necessary.  You are welcome and invited to participate in discussions in the Newbie sub-forum.  It is a very active sub-forum.

hello,
I make jewellery which I hope to sell using bitcoin. I've been watching the economic collapse and the rise of bitcoin for a while, would like to be a small part of it.

Wow, I had no idea there were so many people looking to accept BitCoin as payment.
Originally I had just planned to attempt to get in, make some investments, and transfer out but..

I'm the co-founder of a small indie gaming company and a lot of these services actually seem legitimately useful.  (=

Hi,

I'm not sure if anyone's reading these messages, but I am currently developing an alerts system that'll do notifications as well as buys/sells for multiple exchanges.

A friend and I are starting up another Bitcoin-based gambling website. Currently we only hold a raffle, but we'd love to expand further as the site grows. We'd find it wonderful to use these forums as a way to not only make our website relatively known, but also in order to get feedback, recommendations, criticism, and hopefully compliments from the community.

Thanks very much, ngc0202!

PS. We may post under either mine or my friend's account (ffrogman)

Hi!

I'm new to posting on bitcointalk, but I've been reading and following bitcoin for a few months now. I'm looking to build a bitcoin business with seed capital that I'm securing from my previous ventures. I'm still brainstorming and learning more about what the community needs and I'm open to ideas and suggestions from other forum members (I'd greatly appreciate it!)

Thanks for having me!

Yo,

I'm considering accepting BTC/cryptocurrency for world-wide VPN services. I'll also do linux/unix (15+ years of exp) work if payment is enough, I'm not touching windows for less than $1m though. ;-)

Python, C/C++, general scripting, advice/help on programming, server/security and networking, let me know.

Hi,

I have built a couple of android widgets for trading Bitcoin equities on Havelock Investments and BTC Trading Corp. I'm interested in finding out whether people find either of them useful.

BTC Trading Corp:

Havelock Investments:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cryptoSec&feature=more_from_developer

Cheers!

I'm a software developer, see http://cv.davesag.com for my capability statement.  I am happy to accept BTC as payment and have added BTC payment details to my website. I've been mining BTC on and off for a couple of years.
