Yup, they are working double time. If you were in SIGT discord earlier, they were coordinated in spreading lies of fork. There was no fork. It was an attack on the SIGT blockchain that Doc quickly fought off.  Unfortunately for them, SIGT priced didn't fall. When Doc was about finish in fighting off the attack, we immediately saw someone bought a bunch of SIGTs.  These fudders are smelling opportunity by fudding SIGT.

The technical apsects of what happened was already posted earlier. For folkls who are not technically knowledgeable on details of blockcahin or computer technology, we have to explain in a matter they would understand or for things to make sense, hence the words used. Nowhere did I mention that Cryptopia was involved in the attack. Doc fixed things or reconfigured the nodes.

SIGT has a potential to go back to hundreds of BTC in trading volume. Fudders knows this. It does not make sense to fud established coins like Monero, Etherium, etc., right?  So they fud small cap coins where the potential for gain is huge. Of course, now the volume of SIGT maybe low, that's because most coins were stuck in cryptopia. SIGTs trading volume potential can be hundreds of BTC based on its peak.

I live in the real world where those in power are the rich,  politicians, business men and military leaders. This are men and women to whom techies adept in technology have to explain in simple terms computer technology that comes their way that they need to decide on. Unfortunately, techies expert in the blockchain technology don't carry much weight in the real world. How about you? Do you live in the online world or the real world? :-)

I really hate to say it but I agree, once mining is over the coin will most likely be done. The mining algorithm is the best thing that came from this coin. It's too bad mining will end soon. I hope another coin will pick up the algo so us Nvidia guys have something that mine efficiently.

I wonder if Signatum could be a bit of a testbed for Ethereum when it switches over to PoS next year as a coin that winds down from PoW to a PoS transition. SIGT could be like the guinea pig

I can put 1 SIGT on the table that those magic Doc's "fixes" are just adding checkpoints to wallet code, recompile and put new code on your "core nodes".
You don't even say: "People, update your wallets (Windows/Linux)" but leave all in your hands.
That is not transparent move, at all.
That allows you to control which fork, in your and only your opinion is good, centrally and in secret. That is nothing more than manipulation on blockchain.

I got my sigt s from crytopia without a problem last night with a really fast transaction speed. i will keep holding.  I have decent amount of sigt half of which i got by early mining and mining. Even if it drops 100 sats, i dont care loosing a few hundred dollars .  growing potential that it has surpasses worrying about loosing a few hunred dollars.  it is better than buying lottery ticket or betting you name it. you can even save a few hundred dollars anothar way either lowering smoking habits or not going out fancy places to eat in a period of time. it is worth for that sacrifice.
