Well, I trust my government where I am but anyway...

...we'll see I guess. I will soon set aside 1 BCH and probably 1 BTC for that $500K McAfee thing. Cheesy I doubt it will ever happen, however. If it's too good to be true... it usually is. Lips sealed

try asking your gov lol
how the fiat really system works?  think they will tell you properly and honestly..no chance bro

truth is........ YOU know more about the system than them...puppets.

(said by a green puppet haahaha..)

The force is strong in that one (i.e BCH)

Lastly, why is such a broken coin worth so much? Who's propping up the price and why? Will price keep 📉 as miners speed mine and cash out? 🤔

Meanwhile, these 2 unknown miners (https://www.blocktrail.com/BCC/address/1BgatB78WrFLdCgnPnBqiDcNFFA46jkPZe … & https://www.blocktrail.com/BCC/address/17Wk4GPKw9nZ9PbspzaxN3fv1L2m9NA9dg …) have mined 65,000 BCH ($26MM) and have not moved them.

Im not so sure about that...bch is gaining alot of support out of china now..
Korea & Japan are embracing crypto...leading the way
soon stamp will list it and coinbase too

the china officials, elites and others will still be buying crypto from abroad, through friends, family or businesses.
crypto is tiny in marketcap and the world without the average china buyer is still huge enough to take crypto to the multi $trill

Now as for btc, its been pumped since end july roughly and it has to downtrend for a few weeks at least (we are in it right now)
a spark is always needed to begin the downtrend...we have that now.

btc has to find a floor, doesnt matter what the news says....this cycle is the way crypto works, once it bottoms out, only then maybe it will rise.
bch hasnt been pumped , its been mainly accumlation and panic buying or selling ...its due to be pumped as its too cheap.

It doesn't a genius to understand that BCH is being dumped beyond recovery, but I'll nver sell, because I won't back down, that's the way I trade.

A block every 2 hours is not optimal, I agree. That's due to miners gaming the EDA for more block rewards.

Then again, most BTC users got used to 24 hours to confirm some of their transactions this year, how's that for usability? The worst I experienced was 3 days... oh and I did I mention I paid $3 in fees? Wow.

yep. that sucks too. luckily the creators of bch stopped spamming when they got what they wanted.

in the meantime i hope something is done to make bitcoin itself less vulnerable to this in case they start up again.

I don't think that's a fair accusation. First off, no one has proven who is behind the spam attacks. Also, Bitcoin Cash was attacked right when it was launched. Let's assume the BCH devs wouldn't do that to themselves.  After BCH chain was attacked, it mined an 8MB block and cleared the mempool in 6 hours. THEN BTC was attacked by spam, and the mempool was full for 2 weeks and fees were insane. At the time I joked about BCH passing a stress test and BTC failing a stress test...

To figure out who is spamming you should ask "qui bono" (who benefits).

try to see Bitcoin Cash as the backup for Bitcoin 2.0 (Segwit). if anything goes wrong Bitcoin Cash will take over.

why would i choose another failure in case of failure? it's better to walk away from the whole thing and forget about it. if there has to be a 'replacement' then litecoin looks a lot more reassuring as a solid prospect.

I sense some denial here. In your mind, a coin that rockets to #4 essentially upon release is a failure?

I mean, sure - it has not supplanted Bitcoin Core. But the ink ain't dry on this as of yet. Not by a long shot.

That said, I'm not onboard with the 'backup' characterization, but whatevs...

The only reason it went that high was due to the full bitcoin chain history

What will you do if the Bgold fork instantly reaches a higher CMC rank will you class that fork as more successful ?

Garbage. Several other coins have forked from the BTC chain (memory fails me what they were called), and most of them failed almost immediately. None of them even made the top 20 coins, for any period of time.

Speaking of garbage - Bgold. I visited the ann thread and was horrified by the sh*tshow. No testnet, crap code wouldn't compile, bad grammar on the website. I will be shocked if this poopybird even gets off the ground.
