Hello everyone! heard the news that one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges Coinbase announced its intention in the coming months to implement support for the Ethereum erc20 technical standard on its platform. Coinbase currently supports 4 cryptocurrencies: bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and BCash. will this affect their growth?

Meanwhile in the real world

https://youtu.be/ckYGyhbovrg

I understand this may be a bit difficult for you to grasp but it's not that hard

Dude, now you're shilling for patented Blockstream technology?!  You really should ask to get paid if you're not - at this point you're one of the few fans Blockstream has left!

Didn't you hear that another key dev at BS quit today? Rats leaving a sinking ship...

it's open source freely available on GitHub for anyone to just download and use/modify/copy/do whatever

I swear the stupidity in here is getting worse are you just butthurt or something or just plain ignorant to what's going off on Bcash

In order to safe you ^ I'd recommend you leave, otherwise you might fall into same kind of 'stupidity'.

Anyway - good things are developed for Bitcoin Cash and the light comes from these things all together.

No artificial short living (destroying?) lightening needed to see that.

AMD and Nvidia are not in the business of mining crypto.   Thats some secondary purpose employed by home users mostly, both companies have shyed away from relying on this source of demand long term.  The main concern is efficiency compared to other methods.   There is some overlap in purpose by business both companies do address which is deep learning and AI in parallel computing, any drop in demand for crypto should be taken up by this industry sector which allegedly has growth maybe even beyond crypto.

I really think AMD and Nvidia were both focused elsewhere in their business plans.    Ethereum itself may yet switch to Proof of stake as a more long term viable solution to mining costs, I think their fees are already too high and the speed of the network not impressive.

I'm not sure how that will affect BCH exactly as GPU is not used to mine this but I guess every opposing crypto protocol has some influence on supply and demand.  ASIC may improve efficiency for ETH which helps their case but they will still lag POW unless they take POS which is quite a radical step sideways.   The main reason to use ETH and not one of the POW coins is still the contract capability of the coin, this demand flow probably has the largest influence on that price.  Its possible less miners in ETH may help BCH price some as its a cheaper more natural alternative

We heard little bit coin money was created as well as funded through the bankers in order to take bitcoin off the pot, so they can adjust the market much more.

There have been several hints now that the BCH 21m cap will be removed in future versions

Nothing official has been said but the people pushing it have mentioned a few things now that make it sound like it was a bad idea

Even at the Satoshi conference it was asked about the 21m cap and CSW response was he don't know and something about bad ideas and alcohol and drugs

Just say the 21m cap did get scrapped to pay the miners in order to keep low to no fees

What are your thoughts on this would you still support BCH of the cap was removed ?

Not a smart move to change the rules after the distribution of the majority of coins.   Really you are talking about asset value destruction to do such a thing, so really would miners actually get paid more.   They'd likely receive less value unless the coin was valued as highly.   Its quite obvious short term the value would fall and its quite hard to argue for a long term benefit to allowing such a change.

I'd rating that one as pretty unlikely unless there was further details given.   I'm sure BCH will vary conditions but its under such scrutiny that they need to justify utility in any change.

Yes - hints and allegations by core/blockstream shills. I see you are trying to earn your keep.

1) You realize CSW is not a leading miner, right?

2) Tek: "nothing... that make it sound like it was a bad idea"; CSW: "bad idea". Cognitive dissonance much?

If the Bitcoin Segwit miners were to abandon the 21M cap, would you still support BTC? You realize they are the same pool of eligible entities, right?

Anyone with a campaign ad in their signature -- for an organization with which they are not otherwise affiliated -- is automatically deducted credibility points.

I will answer and NO I would not support if the 21m cap was scrapped but this won't happen the miners do not control BTC

While this is not the case with BCH the miners are the one in control and by allowing then to be the only ones that can run abnide you cannot stop them

There are many interesting articles about BCH now. The main idea of these articles is that BCH will soon become the main coin in the world of crypto. But I think BCH developers want to inspire this idea to society in order to make their project popular.
