There is no need for updates here, the dev team update in more official places like their Facebook page. Nobody official will pop in here guys, only the community manager. The threads here are just full of negativity, the same as most projects sadly. We all know that we have to wait, no getting around that. I see no reason why they should have to police the ANN thread for weeks on end saying the same thing over and over again. When it is done, they will update you all here too most likely.

Haha, don't let me stop you Cheesy Not my project, just my opinion. I have nothing to lose either way. You selling your mined coins? How many did you manage to get for dumping? Difficulty was way too high for me after the first few days. I did get 2k dollars out of just a few hours mining though! Pretty cool.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

@HASHPARTY  frozen graphics. Hasn't changed in 2 days.

http://us-etn-stats.hashparty.io/#

Pool warning for noobs. No matter how much hashrate you add to this pool they always have fake miners that will trump you. This is becoming an epidemic with some pools.

http://pool.electroneum.space/#worker_stats

just the past 24 hours I have tested this and unless this pool operator can prove without any doubts it's untrue then explain how you had a farm come on your pool with 24 m/h. Explain all these magical huge farms that jump in when any miner gets close to the top 3 earners. Yeah you cannot, and you need to stop screwing people over.Word to the scammer no fucking farm that size would even mine this coin. Stop screwing your miners over and maybe you'll have a pool worth mining at.

anyone can test this yourself if you put over 1 m/h on this pool watch how many 'huge farms' jump in and beat your hash within seconds. For the noobs that 24 m/h fake miner I saw would have an upfront cost at todays rates of 5 million usd just in GPU's alone. I'm sorry but those farms only mine cryptonote XMR. Etn is nice but they don't touch coins until they have huge liquidity.

tldr: your pool is cheating by creating fake miners..quit your bullshit.

SCAM ----- http://pool.electroneum.space/#worker_stats

^

Sad we have to police these pools, but not much choice really when it comes to scamming thousands of usd from miners.

You're welcome to test my pool, 100% legit, only 0.5% fees!
And we need more hashrate to find blocks more frequently!  Grin

Electroneum.ovh | PPLNS Electroneum Mining Pool

Help keep the network decentralized with this new Electroneum mining pool.

EU located Electroneum mining pool launched on 11/15/17! Only 0.5% fees!

Mining address: electroneum.cryptominingpool.eu:3333 (port 5555, 7777 | or 8888 for Nicehash)

Fixed difficulty supported, use syntax: "public_address.difficulty"

Shutting down an entire thread without even a notice or warning isn't exactly gonna re-assure investors in this project who are already spooked enough. Behaviour like this is just gonna make people dump even more when the coins are released, and if it tanks as low as 1 cent there'll be a lot more sellers than buyers. Just my opinion.

I doubt many of the investors even know what Bitcointalk is. They hooked most of them via social media and bounties, it was all over Facebook and Twitter etc. My workmate and brother invested and they don't know anything about Crypto. I guess that was the point of the project in the first place, tapping into a bigger market than the small Crypto world. It remains to be seen if it will be successful or not though.

I feel thee need to warn people of the extreme risk involved in investing in this coin before I offload to any potential bag-hodlers.

It's the worst when people just invest in the project without learning anything about him, and especially not knowing what cryptocurrency is and what risks they are just buying it)

I noticed that there are two very high circulating volume coins that came out of seemingly nowhere and are now top 25
ATMChain(Oct 4th) has 3B circulating coins and is at $0.097 USD- $485M market cap
Cardano(Oct 2nd) has 26B circulating coins and is at $0.027 USD- $700M market cap

Electroneum should have around 4.5B circulating.   Hopefully it can match or exceed cardano.   That would put Electroneum at $0.15 or more.

Also, where did ATMchain come from?  I couldnt find an announcement thread for it.

Cardano is truly a Cinderella story. To come so far in such a short amount of time, I wouldn't bet on other stuff being so lucky.

Tell that to Apple. Marketing is one of the key point in order to establish a good cryptocurrency project with success.

The estimate I've read so far is around 3 more weeks: https://plus.google.com/+ClaudeSG/posts/csQXP1vUsWT

I did see a video of a guy visiting their offices and there was indeed someone from HackerOne working in there. I guess until they finish analyzing for breaches, the wallets will be offline. Just stop bashing this until the coin is actually released and available, I still have good faith in ETN otherwise I wouldn't have invested in it. You can always mine for it if you want some ETN right now to trade.

Tell that to Apple. Marketing is one of the key point in order to establish a good cryptocurrency project with success.

Creating a token takes 10min today (literally, try on the rinkeby testnet!!).
Marketing, team and vision, is what makes a coin a real PROJECT.

Electroneum is a future top10 coin for this reason.

I think you might wanna add a talented and dedicated devs with lots of community support and investors that makes a project a success, but i think you also need a working software.
