A slight disappointment, I have to say. I am not blaming stake.com for this but to my own ignorance or perhaps a less accurate use of wording by stake.com in one of their most popular sportsbook promotions; early six in IPL.  Have a look at the wording of the promotion;



Now, 'you will be paid out as a winner up to $25 USD!' can easily be interpreted as, 'your bet of up to $25 USD will be paid out as a winner' which is not the case. Yesterday I lost a bet of $25 with 2.2x odds, which I specifically placed thinking that if my team hit a six in the first two over my $25 bet would be covered and I would be paid $55 even if my team lost the match. Well as you might have guessed already my team lost after hitting a six within the first two overs. I was expecting $55 but got only $25 . At that moment I realized that I had misinterpreted the terms (or I got tricked  ). So from now in order to fully capitalize on this promotion make sure your total winnings stay under 25$.
This is a classic example of whenever you are in doubt, always interpret the terms as favoring the casino

Well, that's normal wording for them. It's the same with their NBA promos and basically everything "lose but win" related stuff. It's always been this way. of course it's annoying when you expect something bigger and in the end it's not what you hoped for, but don't we experience this in every casino? 
Anyway, at least the promo existed and you got some money back, still better than losing and getting nothing in return I would say.

You had misunderstood the terms. I haven't seen anyone to complain about this type of terms of the promotion. The wording "up to" is enough there in my opinion. This is an additional promotion from Stake team. They are just giving back a small amount of free money to the users through this promo. It will be ingratitude to address this terms (wording) as 'favoring the casino'.

Yes, and I have admitted it, but these are definitely not clear-cut wordings from stake.com, they could have explained this with a clear-cut example. Just look at the first few words,

Here clearly stake.com is talking in terms of 'bet' so how do I know that in later words they switched it to winnings from the bet, look;

if they hit a six in the first two overs but go onto lose the match, you'll be paid out as a winner up to $25 USD!

There is no clear mention that stake.com is not talking about the bet placed but rather the total winnings from the bet.

I haven't seen anyone to complain about this type of terms of the promotion.

Do I need to pay homage to stake.com for this promotion? lol no thanks. I am saying what I have felt, and If I am wrong let be it, I am not asking for any money from stake.com anyway, I am saying that there is a need for clear cut wording and an example.

Anyone notice the decrease on the post monthly bonus. I remember getting much higher amount in the past by wagering same amount that I wager now.

I get way lower bonus now which I’m confused I ended my monthly balance with near breakeven on negative side.

I hope next monthly bonus will cover on this.

Actually they increased the pre and post monthly some months ago. Before it was a set amount for each vip level, if you reached the wager for the base amount, but now you can get more than that. Normally the amount for platinum 6 was 35$ or something like that. Now I got 120$ last month and 80$ this month, which is not bad. Sure it's still hard to figure out the calculation since it sometimes makes 0 sense.]
What I don't like about the structure is that they use the last 30 days of wager for the calculation, unlike the regular monthly which uses the time from monthly to monthly.

I made deposit of around 500$ on March (win condition+ waggering a few grand) on 19th March. I claim my post monthly got the same amount of your friend which is 5$, damn is crazy.... 150K waggering for 5$ monthly even my weekly without waggering still can give me 5$ at least.

Yeah probably because of the Cache that stores a lot of activity in the browser, because I myself often visit gambling sites so more ads are seen everywhere.

Exactly, I don’t understand and anticipate the amount of bonus I can earn. Sometimes I earn huge amount above my average while there’s monthly like this that is so low while the wager is same amount.

I think the cut-off date should be at least declared for the bonuses in able for players to schedule their wager. I usually don’t play when I knew that I accumulated already a decent wager while my PnL is just breakeven.

The thing is, if you wager around 1.5 - 2k in a week you basically qualify for the "base amount" for your VIP level. If you wager below your account is deemed "inactive" and you get less and less and end up at 0.08$ after some weeks, even diamond accounts can fall to that. Seems like you wagered enough to get at least something.

Looks like you were over thinking the rules. The initial part of the term was about placing a bet on the match. It doesn't mean what you actually thought. Your expectations would be right if the wording was like this "you'll be paid out as a winner up to $25 USD bet!". Anyway, the wording has made you confused and it hasn't met your expectations. You should tell the support agent of Stake to make the wording more clear in the terms if you think more people will misunderstand it.

I just took a look at this new game by stake and I must say I did not except those multipliers to increase so fast with each correct guessing of one's election. But by a few correct guessed against the casino one could easily get a x7, which is something I did not expect from a game like this.

As always the aesthetics of the game match perfectly with the artistic style of the rest of the Stakes Originals and that pleases me much.
I will definitely continue to play it, in the same way I played pump for a while.

LOL, multipliers don't increase fast, they just go up 1.98x every time, just like they do on any other 50% win chance game, like for example coin flip.
Just here you sometimes draw, that's all. Basically it's the exact same game as coinflip actually, just in a different packaging. And since cf came out like a month or two ago bringing out the same game isn't really that exciting tbh.
