It seems playkey has a lot of competitors, like Nvidia who seems to have a cloud gaming service. I googled cloud gaming and there are a lot of competitors. http://www.nvidia.com/object/cloud-gaming-benefits.html

the problem is that that service is limited by location, the farther away from the servers, the more latency you will have, and the cost is higher than what playkey will be, though, at the end, they are still further ahead of pleykey, blockchain will catch up.
Really hope Playkey will be a succes. The plans they have can really solve the latency other players in this market will have. Using the blockchain and miners can be a great partnership I think in the future miners will mine this and not other coins because the return will be higher with this. I think that selling your computing power to playkey will be almost always much more profitable than mining But for PlayKey mining you will use only 1 GPU, what are you going to do with the other 5+ GPUs? You leave them in the mining rig. Also, the mining rig's CPU is too slow, you need more RAM and a bigger and faster harddisk. In practice you will have to buy a whole new high end rig to mine PlayKey and set it besides the coin mining rig. So in practice PlayKey cannot replace coin mining. I'm not so sure about this. I'm actually waiting for the specs that are required to be a Playkey miner, but it would be logical that 1 'miner' could host multiple games.

how much GPU computing power Playkey datacenter have? is there any information about datacenter anywhere?
This is certainly an interesting question. But we are talking about the transition to blockchain and miners

there is just a little less traffic on the channel here. people will come. and imo you dont have to think twice to see that the project is nice

hype is a product of marketing as well as people promoting it organically. I think fans of this project need to pick up the slack.

I hope, they will lower the subscription fees, because at the moment, Playkey is probably the most expensive on the market.

Ive mentioned GRID a few times here. Playkey needs to get a lot of miners to be able to be competitive to Nvidia . Miners need financial incentive to mine, so actually the price of PlayKey will have a big effect on its future.

Nvidia has its own server farms and offer their service for a calculated price (I think 9,99$ a month). Playkey though has the advantage that they can have "server providers" (aka miners) all over the world, which SHOULD improve their service, BUT they have to pay the miners of course. That basically means they have to take higher fees from subscribers, which isn't great. Consumers are not big fans of subscriptions and tend to take the least expensive.

I agree that people don't like subscriptions, but look at Netflix, no one expected them to get this big. Hopefully Playkey will have advantages over the competitors, can anyone tell me about the advantages?

A lot of competitioners is not that bad, but gives a reason to work hard on the project. There are also more then one video streaming service out there, more then one gaming console producer etc. You just need to find the right way and maybe your unique feature.

Hopefully Playkey will have advantages over the competitors, can anyone tell me about the advantages? Yeah, you are right about that. But when Netflix came to the market, it was a different situation. First of all, people already wanted a service like this for a long time. There already were a few like Hulu (mostly TV-Shows), but nothing really outstanding. Besides, people are used to pay for cable, so it wasn't something really new. Cloud Gaming is new though ... and personally, I tried it several times, but it never impressed me. The delay is the most annoying part. Although it is only a few MS ... you still notice it ... and me personally, I just can't play like that. Especially in these days, when games tend more and more to run with 60 FPS+ and have this very direct input feel. Regarding Playkeys advantage - Playkey has its own server farms (like all competitors), but basically everyone with a gaming pc and a fast internet connection, can offer it for others too. So, in theory, assuming Playkey will have a lot of miners, the gaming experience should be better in contrast to the competition, because there is a higher chance that the gaming server is actually near your location. The further away the server farm is located, the higher the chance that you get a high input lag + you are able to play games at all.

Bitcoin went quite down today.
Curious, why sell now before the snapshot has taken place? Maybe some people are unsure whether Bitcoin will survive the fork, or the opposite, that the fork will not take place. It is also possible some smarter people take advantage of such thoughts and manipulate the market that way using leveraged positions. Whatever the case, a lot of money has left the Bitcoin market. I wonder if moves into fiat, altcoins or ICOs like Playkey. Whale trying to buy bitcoin cheap. Or people who don't like unstability and prefer to get fiat before the fork.
