Maybe not 5 years ago, but now high speed internet connection is cheaper and more accessible than expensive computer hardware. Thats why it makes perfect sense that cloud gaming can be next big thing.

You mean how will the value of the token go up? I think in crypto trading its demand and supply, so they have to make people want the playkey token.

could also be possible to burn tokens if its used for cloud gaming, which would slowly make it a deflationary token if less tokens are on the market.

Yes Ive seen this concept is already implemented in other project and their explanation is that the token value will rise because of less supply and more demand

Its all about scaling, when internet was invented it would crash if too many people tried to visit a forum at once. Then when email was invented the internet was not ready!
Later you could add attachments to emails and people were freaking out the internet would crash because it couldnt handle the traffic. New ideas force technology to Scale.

isn't this service subscription based? it is on playkey.net

It is, but you still have to buy games (most of them, especially the new ones) that you want to play. 

If i already have a game i can use my license, right?

It depends I guess. It seems that you can play games you bought on Steam. If you bought your games somewhere else, it COULD not work. Not sure.

It would be interesting to know the official statement from Playkey regarding the game licenses and how they will enforce this. Via a key or another way?

I did not find anything related to Steam licenses in the whitepaper. But on TechCrunch I found:

“Users can use their own Steam library with our service, buy the game from Steam directly, or purchase the key and subscription from us.”

I think they will be setting up virtual machines for each user, otherwise the Steam libraries and save games from different people will conflict with each other. The downside is that if the game data is also stored in the virtual disk of the virtual machine that will waste a lot of storage space on duplicate bits. But that too can be solved by configuring the virtual machines with a shared virtual disk for game data and separate virtual disks for user data.

Playkey unique technology launches not a virtual machine that, you are right, needs a lot of storage but a virtual copy of a game. That requires much less storage and computer power. That's why Playkey has such amazing figures of growth.

Technology is evolving so fast, that there is no way you can keep up. Fortunately game developers are still trying to keep in touch with a regular gamer but you have to update your hardware sooner or later to be able to play recent games.

The most impressive advantage of Cloud Gaming is that it is useless to have a powerful PC equipped with the latest Nvidia or ATI graphics card with the latest Intel / AMD processor. Indeed, only a video playback is practiced.

you just need to have a powerful internet connection like over 30mbit and more, and even the shittiest personal computer with a bad graphics card would be good enought to let you play with damn good settings ><.
