The DigRate makes some valid points and but also overlooks some benefits of PlayKey. Nevertheless I hope the PlayKey will look at the weaker spots and try to improve them.

What are the weak spots of PlayKey? What do you think?

I'm just wondering, how can they pay approximately 1$ an hour, if the client pays ~ 10$ for a whole month of playing, or up to 70h, if I remember correctly...

Am I missing something?. Cuz it doesn't make sense to me.

There is difference. We have different packages - 1 hour for $1, or 1 month starting from $10 and up to $20. 70 hours is the limit. The reality is that gamers play much less, so you can be able to host other gamers and get more rewards.

This make sense, moreover you could even consider just b uy 1 hour for a game and try it to see if you like it.

You can even try their demos for free. No need to spend money on trying their product.

it's not bad, hopefully it will be enough. All ICO's are going thru a rough patch due to the fork.

Backers are investors "backing" up the project. Often the term is used in "staking". the backer provides liquidity for the project. The project works their best to turn a profit. The backer gets part of that profit.

Thank you for your explanation. I was wondering why they were called backers and not just participants or investors. This makes sense though

Bonus is 15 % right now. And this is boggest bonus on crowdsale. Then, they will have smaller bonus as well

Maybe the term investor is unacceptable because PlayKey doesn't share their income with the token holders.

Everyone says that they will switch to Blockchain. However, no one says what will happen then… Except us.

They raised 14599 eth for now, actually a very great number.

But if you think about this reasons it is very low:

* Playkey has a working product which you can try and they have lots of customers even now.

* It is solving a problem that major of the population have.

* Their market is gaming which is already huge and growing very fast.

If it was another time it should hit the hard cap on the first day, now with bitcoin forks and bitcoin pump, they only get 14999 eth for now (which is an amazing number).

I hope after fork over they will get what they deserve.

The DigRate team has assigned A2 rating score of investment attractiveness to Playkey project: medium-to-high probability of investment return, considerable sensitivity to market environment.

Playkey – cloud gaming provider – is planning to conduct an ICO on November 1st with the intent of exponentially accelerating the pace of cloud gaming development through decentralization. The aim is to provide gamers with a reasonably-priced opportunity to play top-rated games anytime and anywhere, using any device connected to Internet, without having to purchase a high-end PC or console.

Playkey has been providing services in the cloud gaming field for four years. The team has extensive experience and the necessary skills to construct a business model. Playkey.io - the next stage of the company's development, can bring it to the international arena. The price of the token directly depends on demand for the company’s services. Therefore, the profitability of the investment depends on the decisions made by the team, on the marketing strategy and many other factors.

More details about the factors that affect the investment attractiveness of the project can be found in our report.
http://digrate.com/uploads/ico_report/Playkey_eng.pdf

The report content is very detailed, do a lot of analysis, it is worth reading.
Playkey got 5.2 score  , it's a satisfactory rating and low fraud rate
Sure that's because they have already a working demo with very low latency which will be the most important aspect for this project.

Interesting, seems like a lot of work was done. I'll take a look into this later but I'll spread the word  Smiley

So when subscription is payed, you can choose to play any game from  the list as long as you buy it first? Game prices are the same as on steam or you get some discount?

There are many cloud gaming companies. Did you even google it?

And there's a good reason for it as it is a growing business. And i myself am just investing in one of those future giants. There's lots of other stuff in internet too that have a competition.
And playkey will be the first decentralized version, with miner.

Well, decentralization brings more transparency on the business and secures the token value. And it's needed for an ico purposes. I am not sure is that brings any value to people buying their services. It's just there to secure the investors imho.

I just read this in the bounty thread

PLAYKEY CAMPAIGN 1,500,000 PKT tokens (1,5%) ≈ 13,500ETH (ICO Price) ≈ 3,915,000$

This is a fixed amount or it depends on the sold tokens on pre-sale and ICO?

the price has been reduced. $1,5 mln pkt token is now worth 6000 ETH without bonus.

As far as I remember the soft cap was already covered with the funds that were raised during the pre-sale.

Another huge benefit of decentralization is that anybody with a decent gaming rig will be able to 'rent' out their horsepower to the network, and in doing so earn an income.
