I try the demo, play 'SID MEIER’S CIVILIZATION VI DEMO'  for a while , works perfect on my MAC , running very smooth.

Use PlayKey i can the PC only games , really exciting.

Could you give us more information about your internet connection speed?

In previous posts, I read that a minimum internet speed of 15 Mbit is required to play it smoothly.

I don't get how this streaming to vr will actually work

Well, VR need powerful PC's to run. With cloud gaming, you don't need a 3k PC for Oculus rift, making the technology more attractive.

Will the broadcast on VR be available? That's cool. This is a really good use. For VR, an expensive computer is needed. But only a headset is needed.

What I also do not understand from that blog is how feasible it is to convert an Ethereum rig to a PlayKey rig.

Typical Ethereum rigs have multiple GPUs but barely any CPU power, a small amount of RAM and some of them run from USB sticks. If they run SSDs, they are usually the smallest ones , meaning there is little space left for double digit gigabyte game data, let alone games occupying 100 gigabyte or more.

Let's say you have 6 GPUs and you want to serve 6 gamers simultaneously. I think the rig will be bottlecapped by the things mentioned above.

That's a good point, and I think you've answered your question. I'm very sure that each miner is required to run full instances of the game (ie. they make it so that one miner does the GPU processing and a different miner does the CPU processing).

That is what I was also wondering (besides this is a good idea which makes this lot of computing power for a somewhat useful). Usually a lot of GPU power is paired with a very small CPU power and memory. But in the meanwhile this is also partially true for consoles. If the game is designed that way, GPUs can take off the most of the load from the CPU side.

I think the same I met the project recently and it was by chance. They should look for more ways to promote it.

A good way to promote this project is to have an aggressive bounty campaign couple with ad campaigns in Youtube and Facebook.

You really have to be more aggressive and reach new horizons, all this noise around the BTC momentarily, you need to be well prepared and visible to remain the best investment for the gains in Btc, Youtube will really leverage them

That's a game I want so badly to play but I can't because my laptop is too old :/ And even if I upgrade it wouldn't run smoothly.
Too bad my internet connection currently is so fucking slow, I would love to test the demo myself :/

I once spent 1 month downloading Elder Scrolls only to find that The although I met the minimum system requirements, the game wad still choppier than Bruce Lee. I needed this technology for years. Hopefully I have the time to pick up a few games in the future. Crypto had basically taken over my life.
