Yes the token sale of playkey go very well, and it will continue I think. The project really deserve it, a lot of people enjoy it and support it, gaming market is very huge and the concept of playkey is disruptive.

It was too early for something like that. The technology wasen't ready (lags) and the console has no sense.

If I'm going to play in streaming why should I spend more money buying a console? There are already consoles on the market.

With decentralized streaming maybe we won't need high-end pc or a last gen console in the future.

It will be just an old laptop, a TV or a smartphone. We'll see.

Not just any old laptop or TV. The devices need the proper decoding chips to process the video and audio stream.

The ability to play AAA titles on obsolete/old/non-gaming (Mac) hardware (min. requirements: CPU >= 1.5 GHz (for Video Adapter with H.264 hardware decoding support));

I'm pretty sure most devices these days have the required hardware. CPU more than 1.5Ghz is really common.
Most smart tv's have dual or quad cores already..

Well, I don't think Playkey is a bad product, but there are still a lot questions to answer. I am still curious to see, how well will everything work, when pc power from miners are used. It really depends on the quality of the gaming pcs and the internet connection of people. With that, the project can succeed or fail.
Besides that, I am still not convinced that Playkey will succeed, when the stick with their actual price plans. Similar services are a lot cheaper.

I don't think Nvidia is their competitor. If Nvidia has some cloud gaming that I am not aware of then you are right but otherwise, Nvidia and playkey are not competitors. If playkey can be a success than all hardware developers get a big hit but it won't make they are competitors.

There may be competitors but on the blockchain,? I dont think so. We get lots of advantages and portability when you add blockchain to any business.
