Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ?

I do not know, because no one knows and no one can predict the market movement. maybe if 10 years to 20 years we can still do a little prediction, but if 100 years I think it's too long.

Have to agree with this. 100 years is a very long time, and even I don't want to make any predictions. For me, even 10 years is a very long duration as Bitcoin is a digital asset. First we need to see whether humanity survives for 100 years or not. If the current levels of pollution and global warming continues unabated, then I have my doubts.

Not entirely sure but I am confident that it's concept will continue to evolve and survive after a hundred years especially that technology continues to evolve and continues to better the lives of human being. I feel that the coming generations will sooner or later find a way to make "bitcoin"survive and be more useful and user friendly to the general public.

It depends. When Bitcoin stops to impress its user, I think this will start to fade. I am confident that with the recent forking and the next if it will happen, I think it will lead to almost perfection. If that happens and Bitcoin go more mainstream year by year, I think it will last long.

I doubt it will last long at a century. I'm on 50 - 60 years on this one and I'm sure it would be at that range only. Every generation has a tendency for unsatisfaction and as technology upgrades new way of profits and investments is changing with it. Technology and Blockchain is simultaneously co-adaptive to each other. It might be a new one, it will come with a more stable, more secured and less transaction fees than butcoin. But as of today no Alts has the power to even equal bitcoin on its place thats for sure.

I agree with you on the transaction fees. The fees are high and will be higher as the value of bitcoin increases. You can look at bitcoin as a store of value, similar to gold, where transaction fees are high, but people still use it. I believe an altcoin, with anonymity, will be widespread for day to day transactions.

That is one reason were into Altcoin for its low transaction fees. I hope the  corrections will helped bitcoin on lower pay soon. But I don't really intended or intentions to just leave bitcoin for its negative features at this moment because I truly believe about its future. We can do both and we don't have to compared them and hate one because it is made to work side by side bitcoin and altcoins.

    Well in my own opinion, who knows bitcoin will reach 100 years or more, because everything can change unexpectedly. I think after 100 years there are so many changes in bitcoin when it comes to trading, investing, and gambling and so on. Maybe that time bitcoin is legal in the whole world just like the other currency today and bitcoin is also one of the currency using in payment.

Who knows? May be it will survive, if there is no other viable competitor. If the US Dollar can survive for 200+ years and gold can survive for 5,000+ years, what prevents Bitcoin from being relevant after a hundred years? I just hope that Bitcoin becomes widely accepted by 2100. At least my grandchildren will be able to profit out of it.

Kind of hard to tell. That world would be much different for sure from the world we have right now. That must be the age of flying automobiles. I cannot be sure of Bitcoin. Perhaps another version of Bitcoin is the trend.

yes i think, as long as there is no major turn around or no big event that could collapse the crypto currencies like wars or introducing new type of currency which way more advance, better, secured like something quantum coin or something like that though i dont care what ever it will be as long as bitcoin still exist and has value, bitcoin is the pride of this generation that has been made good for so long.
