I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential
I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well
But what do you think about it after 100 years ?

Bitcoin will definitely survive 100 years and even more. But the future of bitcoin is hard to predict since we have seen ups and downs from it. But at this rate, bitcoin will definitely be awesome in the next five or ten years. We could also witness more people embracing the idea of bitcoin and more investments to come. We could also witness more innovation not only in the crypto, but also in our countries as well.

I'm not sure if bitcoin will survive after 100 years because it is a long time and hard to predict with a long time, anything can happen at that time.

I believe it will since there are regular updates and upgrade of Bitcoin Network even though fork are created. With active developer and enthusiast community, I believe Bitcoin will thrive until the last bitcoin is mined or decades after that. Remember, Bitcoin had established its ground and it was deeply rooted so it would be difficult to overthrow or kill it unless developer abandoned the project.

I think so. Bitcoin has big trust from its user that can make bitcoin survive longer than we thought. Just wait and see then our child will know it survives or not.

After 100 years, I do not know exactly, physically I will not survive, but I give it 10 years as a financial pyramid and it's ideal for everyone. It is impossible to subjugate several million people for a long time, the effect of oversaturation and rejection is the same here, too.

Bitcoin must be survive more than 100 years. Bitcoin survive till the end of technology. Because todays world is technical depended world. Everything nowadays depend on technology. Bitcoin is digital currency. So its user and use must be grow up day by day. So bitcoin survive lifetime.

I had a similar discussion with someone just the other day. He said that bitcoin will not be around in 5-10 years (not even talking about 100). I, of course, do not agree, and believe in the long term options of it, but it's really about emotions here, there's no way to prove it either way, just wait and see...

Bitcoin has nearly reached its 10th anniversary. You can see, in just 10 years, it has achieved what any other coin wants. However, it also has many difficulties and it has overcome all and become the most valuable currency at the moment. 100 years is not long but not too short so I think Bitcoin can survive until that time although it may face a lot of difficulties.

My opinion is that 100 years is a very long time and if we take the development of technology, then it increases every day. And no one can say what will happen in a year, but 100 years is a very long time

We can not live to 100 years. So the bitcoin question has existed for 100 years meaningless, so funny. In prehistoric times, they did not think there would be a day. man can fly

it is impossible if bitcoin lasts up to 100 years. because currently there are already countries that do not agree with the existence of bitcoin. let alone the next 100 years.

Why not? It is possible. After all, people are getting too fascinated with technologies. So it isn't impossible for bitcoin to survive after 100 years as long as there are people who keeps using it. And seeing its potential, it cam be a great asset.

yes it is possible but I still can not say anything because the period of 100 years is not a short time and still far in my mind, do see from year to year the growth of bitcoin enthusiasts more and more and bitcoin become popular in all circles, and hopefully bitboin can bener bener last up to 100 years

A hundred year is far too long and I don't think bitcoin would still posses the advantages that we look for a currency in that year of economy and way of living, I think it will be replaced by a far more currency maybe still in a form of crypto with a much more better system or maybe bitcoin itself is upgraded in the distant future to accommodate such advance way of living.
