I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
Well we are all still clueless on what may happen with bitcoin in the future but as we take a look on what's happening with bitcoin right now, we will be able to say that it will last up until after 100 years. The credibility and invulnerability of bitcoin makes it more likely to survive the future obstacles that it may meet on the way so we should just had faith with bitcoin. Everything will surely be settled properly with bitcoin in the future.

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?

Heck yes!!!

It'll take more than 100 years from now for all Bitcoin to be mined!

A better question is, whose thinking is more crazy - that bitcoin survive 100 years? Or that it won't?

100 years is a long time and we can not predict for a very long time so maybe bitcoin will still survive but may also disappear in the presence of new coins

Bitcoin is still kicking at that time even though I'm not. I think it will last forever as long as we take care of it.
It is helpful anyway because it let you earn money.
I'm clueless of what will happen in the future but since bitcoin is helpful even though it's quite volatile,It will survive after a hundred years.

I think that with all the shit going on in the world, the real question is whether our humanity will last another 100 years? As for the btc, if it's not sunk by the forks or bought by the banks, yes it has no real reason to stop its crazy course. It's up to you investors to decide his fate.

I think Bitcoin can survive after 100 years provided there is internet because I can see that Bitcoin also rely on it. It will also last a hundred years if anyone is always willing to take risks and invest in Bitcoin. Taking risks is something that will not be soon and easily given by the majority of people, but talking about Bitcoin, I think it's something worth the risk.

I don't believe there is any pyshcal shop within my nation that accepts bitcoin like a setting of payment as well as I've not see any local sites that have an option to pay with bitcoins as bitcoin is still not famous my nation and people are not aware of yet but hopefully things can change in coming years.i

Wow that is really sad to hear about the lack of physical stores or merchants that accept bitcoin in your country, wherever that is. I know here in my country we got major stores like subway, my local bar, and even a limousine service. Then we got retailers like tigerdirect.com, expedia.com, Microsoft and so forth.

In century we will never have money, probably Artificial intelligence will control everything and everything will be totally free

Get hit on the point! We can not visualize the economic conditions of the world in a hundred years, just as those who lived in the early twentieth century could never imagine that today there would be something as fantastic as bitcoin or Internet.

Therefore, I believe that in a hundred years our civilization will be so advanced that economic relations will have progressed in such a perfect and egalitarian way that I doubt very much that commercial exchanges are carried out through systems as old as money or our primitive cryptos.

If bitcoin is able to maintain price consistency from very active fluctuations it is not impossible to survive until 100 years into the future. However, as time goes by economics and technology grows, although bitcoin is able to survive definitely development will probably emerge new and better technology of bitcoin, but I would like it even though there will be some new technology bitcoin still maintain its existence and be a comparison for the new thing.

It seems to me that in a hundred years bitcoin will be worth over$ 100,000 and it will be use more than 50% of the population. Bitcoin is very strong and he will not die.

IMO BTC has come to stay for almost as long as anyone can predict but  100 years is too far to predict.

We honestly don't know what will happen in 100 years but I believe it will have had a definite impact in that blockchain and digital currencies will have by then been accepted and integrated into business. However it's possible there'll be new technologies and methods by then!

Only god knows if bitcoin will still be here in 100 years. Anyhow if people will still continue to join in bitcoin community probably there will be more enhancements and upgrades that will surely help to sustain BTC community through the years.
