If we as a civization will survive. if world economy won't crash. if people just won't forget about it. it's high probable that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency will survive and maybe will replace normal currency. Anyway after 100 year we will be dead.

I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential
I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well
But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
As I really can't predict the future, I believe that anything can happen within that period, there is a saying that everything thay rises eventually falls, Bitcoin is the major crypto currency at the moment but I believe that as time goes on, another will come which will be more profitable to people and they will flock towards it abandoning bitcoin. Well, I believe so because bitcoin show all the potentials to survive the next 100 years. The only thing i'm afraid is the fast change of technology. I don't know what the future might bring for now. But for sure bitcoin is here to stay and nothing will dare to cross on it way and if anything do they will be dealt with. Because many have tried and failed but bitcoin is still here, stonger than ever - Here we go, baby! I would doubt that. My reasoning we don't know even we (human beings) will survive 100 years or not as we try hard to consume more and don't live sustainable. If we survive then there is big chance that btc will also survive. I do not agree with that because what have we as humans to do with something like bitcoin which is actually internet money bitcoin will survive lobger than we ever can because the internet does not die. |

I think it is ' yes ' because increasingly forward of his era will be increasingly sophisticated technology so there will be many who know bitcoin. Bitcoin is an easy thing in investing according to me the more people wear more advanced bitcoin will even be in use till whenever. Not only is it beneficial to anyone also bitcoin so there is no reason for someone not to give it a try.

For this question to be answered the term 'survival' needs to be defined in this context.
In order for Bitcoin to survive, as in, still be functional and have the capability of making transactions it needs miners and nodes.
Will it still have full nodes and miners 100 years from now? Most likely yes, but one can never be sure.
Will it still be the #1 cryptocurrency in terms of price and market cap? Maybe.
So yes, I believe that Bitcoin will survive in the most basic sense at least.
I think I agree with the submission above...we are gradually moving to the age of cryptocurrency |

someon told me before that btc can survive if not abused by influence person to do bad thing or discredit btc it can probably the main fact is if this person are alive and not know btc for a long time then suddenly she/he knows I think that the end for cryptoworld

Thats possible especially when bitcoin will gain so much popularity and will have a lot of bitcoiners or bitcoin members that are fully supporting it, and yes bitcoin will last that long.

Yes I think bitcoin will survive after 100 years because it is possible if bitcoin would continue to increase it price in the market and if bitcoin would be popularized in the whole world. I believe that it will survive even after 100 years because I think bitcoin is the strongest cryptocurrency today and as of now its price continues to grow unexpectedly. |

It is hard to imagine 100 years later. But if you ask me about 20 years I could say to you bitcoin will be mined less but increase its value. I think currency will end in 100 years later and then people will return back to exchange. |

maybe,because I think do not anyone can live up to 100 years maybe just some,but maybe our generations will see if bitcoin will survive after 100 years.
Because bitcoin is increasingly used,maybe after 100 years,it could be the bitcoin price increased 100-fold, because every year its bitcoin has a significant improvement.
and I hope the Bitcoin will stay for the children and the generations to come.

I think currency will end in 100 years later and then people will return back to exchange. Yes, it's hard to predict about the future of bitcoin late after 100 years. Even the reality of tomorrow can't be predicted precisely. Till the last coin gets mined, the bitcoin will come into existence. Once after that the mined coins get circulated through different exchanges generating revenue to users through different means. |
