I could'nt  imagine how much is the price of bitcoin after a century, it may be tripled, doubled or maybe not circulating anymore because im sure that online community will create a new crypto or they will develop a better version of bitcoin, much tougher than any other crypto currencies, a hundred year is too long, even a second, the price flactuates, and creates an impact to our wallet

This could be bigger that we can't even imagine, like all payments will use bitcoin. Or it could be bitcoin is no longer exist after 100 years. But i believe that bitcoin can survive longer than 100 years or even more than 200 years.

Just look at how much the world changed in the last couple decades, do you think you could predict anything accurate about something that far? Things will only move faster saving a major disaster.

Definitely will remain supporters of Bitcoin
But soon something new will appear that will change the world.

Reality talk, nothing is permanent in this world, 100years is a very long way. By that time new technology may appear. We cannot say if bitcoin will be available by that time or a new updated one will appear.

I think that it will remain but it wont be such a digital gold as it is now, it will be as a collections thing. It is quite interesting to try imagine what will be after 100 years. I think that untill that time there will several digital crypto bums as big as btc ( alternative crypto).

There is a chance but we cant predict 100 years because there will be more and more innovation to technology.

If fiat has survived all of this time, I'm sure it will. However, the only factor is how fast will tech advance to make it obsolete?

I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
maybe I think the next 100 years is a far-reaching figure to think ahead of me in my opinion as long as the value or bitcoin price gets stronger and the value is even higher for me will do anything with as much as possible invest with bitcoin

I do think bitcoin would survive maybe even a hundred year more but it will still depend on whether it will adapt another network system when internet changes or how the society would adjust to it but at long as there is a platform where its coins can circulate then I think it would be considered immortal.

stable? this crypto is not stable if you see the value of bitcoin it changing every seconds and minutes and i think we dont predict what will happen in the future so im not sure if bitcoin will survive after 100 years.  Grin

Its probably yes but knowing that 100years is far from reality coz we will already be dead by that time. But yes bitcoin will still be alive if there is no other currency that will be generated before 100 years.

the truth is that no one knows and no one knows also if your age will reach 100 years to come, but technology like bitcoin will surely be replaced with other new technology. which functions the same as or like bitcoin.

I think all of us cannot predict the future. What will be in the coming next 10 years is hard to tell also. The Bitcoin is just a beginning and I am sure if something breakthru came out, the BTC will gone. Still we live in a digital world but without power and machine, it is nothing.

Ahhhm for me there are some possibilities that the bitcoin will survive atfter the next 100 years as long as its value wilk not change or become higher. But for me we cannot predict the future lets just see what might happens next.
