Should be no problem with this since few hardcore PrimeDice fan will still use vpn or other things to access the site. Since there is no way to know for sure the number of players and also the wagered BTC per day so there is no sure way to know if the number of the players are decreasing

Your bet shot to know about this is to check how long will PrimeDice hit the 6 billionth bet later, it takes like almost 2 months from 4 billionth to 5 billionth with the current amount of players. The time needed to hit the 6 billionth bet will tell of the players are decreasing or not although this cant be really accurate

I got a lucky seed! Grin

If you want to get the lucky seed follow my instruction, first you need to change the client seed at midnight then put your first name in client seed after that don't play and go to bed then pray and sleep.  Smiley

lol it sounds funny trick, is that really works?
can you show us by uploading your winning streak and i am interested to know how much you got from this method?

You can try then post your experience here. Smiley

I introduce you to my site: http://dicesites.com/primedice Yesterday PD had more wagered than any other day last ~8 weeks. Daily bets seems slightly lower but too insignificant to say the US ban is the reason. Of course we gotta wait for like a week to see if there is really any change but ATM it isn't looking too bad for PD Smiley

The number is peaking although that yesterday stunna made an announcement regarding not accepting players from US anymore, But from what I saw from yesterday's number of roll until today, the daily rolls seems to be reducing like around ~10M or so rolls, ( Could be due to the May Day Holiday ) usually it occurs around ~20M

P.S : Great , I totally missed your sites. I will be visiting your thread to ask some question regarding this since this is not appropriate thread to discuss about your sites

Can someone tell me since when 20BTC max profit was changed to 20BTC max payout on PD?

This fucked me up real good today, I was -8BTC tried to do 21BTC bet on 1.5X to recover from this loss and system kept giving me red error that max payout is 20BTC. I had to bet less and I won this bet.

It was always like that, the 20btc cap is your wager + profit together. If it gave you an error then you should probably be glad of that, rather than having wagered 21btc and only received 20 back.

Why people are saying good bye ? Smiley U can use simple VPN , like hola extension for chrome u can set it to go over vpn only on primedice so when u are on other sites it doesnt go over vpn.

I used it for netflix it works like a charm.

If we use free VPN, they could steal our data / add some ads to every site we visit
But, we don't waste our money by purchasing premium VPN too Sad

There is still a 2fa to protect your account! Not really a big problem Smiley

That is incorrect. I agree it isn't really a problem though.
I could come up with 10 ways to "hack" 2FA, but the relevant risk for VPN is the man-in-the-middle attack (MITM) and 2FA does not help for that. Basically all the traffic goes through the VPN so if the hacker controls the VPN he could show you a fake PD site (copy) and see the passwords you fill in, but also the 2FA code. Both can be send to the real PD site under the attackers control - and he can make withdrawals etc. Basically 2FA does not help at all against MITM. This is the same reason 2FA doesn't work against phishing sites (also fake site that gets your password/2FA code and uses it immediately.)

HOWEVER, the description in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1043827.0 seems pretty correct. All you have to do is make 100% sure you are connected to https://primedice.com and there is nice little lock icon next to it. That topic has some more details. This way the traffic is encrypted between you and the real PD site.

Still I do recommend everyone to use 2FA whenever there is a decent amount of money involved (or your account is worth a lot to you.)

US has been proven to fight against gambling sites many many times (even w/ black friday - poker, now also Micon, etc.) I don't think Russia cares too much (unless it's Russian operators perhaps.) It's not about what PD wants, it's about their risks.

Great while it lasted. So long and thanks for all the fish, I'm done with PD now as a direct result of this bonehead move.

It truly is unfortunate that this had to happen. I predict that other top Bitcoin gaming sites will soon follow suit and US users will end up only having access to less trustworthy options. We appreciate the time you spent with us and hopefully someday the legal situation regarding gambling in jurisdictions such as the US will no longer be so opaque.

good to see they shut you down...if only you ran an honest operation ~~~ oh well ! * you had it coming Wink ~now where are your bank records? lol

They weren't shut down. Stunna took proactive measures to block US based players in case something does actually go wrong.

And I disagree with your statement that Primedice is a dishonest operation. They are provably fair and have a solid history of being honest and not defrauding their players unlike many other dice sites out there. Along with Just-Dice, Primedice is probably the most trustworthy and legitimate dice site in the Bitcoin space.

so my question still hasn't been answered

The US also has far more power than Russia when it comes to international matters. Note how they were able to arrest Kim Dotcom and seize his hard drives despite him being a German citizen living in New Zealand.

Apparently they've been cracking down on Bitcoin gambling sites much harder recently compared to the past:

Quote from: Bits of News
While not based or operated in the United States, the company fears possible legal repercussions from the acceptance of US players down the road... The site is taking proactive measures to ensure their opportunity to play a significant role in the global online gambling market in the future...

Many speculators agree that this decision is at least partially in response to US crackdowns on Bitcoin gambling operations. Just two days prior to this announcement, Bryan Micon was charged with one account of operating an unlicensed interactive gaming system by Nevada law enforcement for his participation in Seals with Clubs. This charge comes two months after his Las Vegas house was raided by Nevada Gaming. If convicted, Micon faces up to 10 years in prison and a $50,000 fine.

Primedice is not the first Bitcoin gambling operation to discontinue service to the US. In the past several months, Luckybit and Satoshidice, two popular Bitcoin gambling sites, also closed their doors to US residents, as the ever changing online gambling regulations in America now threaten the security and future of Bitcoin casinos worldwide.

Link: http://bitsofnews.net/primedice-discontinues-us-support/

Effective immediately Primedice will no longer accept deposits from visitors located within certain jurisdictions including the US. While Primedice is neither operated nor based in the USA, we've chosen to take proactive measures to mitigate long term risk for our users and service. The legal landscape is quickly shifting and we are choosing to completely block deposits from users located in what we've deemed as higher risk jurisdictions.

Link: http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1043059

More information about Nevada's shutting down of Seals with Clubs can be found here.

And Primedice isn't alone. SatoshiDice and LuckyBit also did the same by blocking players from the US. CoinBase has also been shutting down accounts associated with gambling too. Sad
