Another option would be to reinstitute the .9% house edge and have the .1 edge go to a jackpot.

Yeah fb giveaway is abusable lots of people get banned on each giveaway but some that are little bit smarter will get away with it most of the time.

Maybe a special 1 time faucet draw. You could say: loyalty_reward=X*account_age+Y*account_wagered Figure out a reasonable X and Y and then there ya go. A nice present to everyone who's been around a long time, or wagered a lot, or both!

I don't know if its done delibrately or not but the HH happens at such a time when most of the active users are offline, thus leading to PD gaining publicity and hype without loosing money. its called statistics you can win 100 times in a row at 9900x or loose 100 times in a row at 98% win rate. (yes both of these are extreme odds but still provable fair)
Its stats and thats all it is. I dont know why people can't get that through there mind.
a good read about the why would be "Daniel Kahneman-Thinking, Fast and Slow" - definitely deep insights about why human brain isn't compatible with statistics.

IMO, it shouldn't be. happy hour is for the active players and not for those who only play when there is something like it. If users are active, they will definitely dont miss the happy hour never guess on peoples luck
