Im making a spreadsheet to calculate loss streaks, and i have a question.

Hope you can help me to understand what is wrong with this.

I set autobet like this.



bet 2 satoshis
3x payout
50% on loss

Lets check roll results



if i start with 2 sats, let say i lose
it would be ( 2 * 0,5 ) + 2 = 3

Next roll is 3
( 3 * 0,5 ) + 3 = 4.5

Next roll is 4 (check primedice image). So I asume 4.5 is rounded to 4

Next roll is 4
( 2 * 0,5 ) + 4 = 6

Next roll is 6
( 6 * 0,5 ) + 6 = 9

Next roll is 9
( 9 * 0,5 ) + 9 = 13.5

here is my problem. Why primedice shows me 14?

Try running this again but this time bet 10sats or 100sats are your base and see what your results are. It is really strange that it keeps rounding up and rounding down like that.

this is just my opinion, but i think you forgot about 1% house edge. So, we should calculate it with 49% increase on lose (or 0.49).
basebet = 10 sats
Payout = 3x
Onloss = 50%

1 roll - 10 sats
( 10 * 0.49 ) + 10 = 14.9 (round up to 15sats)

2 roll - 15 sats
( 15 * 0.49 ) + 15 = 22.35 (round down to 22)

3 roll - 22 sats
( 22 * 0.49 ) + 22 = 32.78 (round up to 33)

4 roll - 33 sats = same with your screenshot

Yeah its probably the house edge OR it rounds up and later on it rounds down to even it out. Maybe try doing about 20-30 bets and see if it alternates, but most likely its the 1% house edge that you need to take into account.

Primedice shows a rounded value, but internally it uses more decimals.

You can easily test this: bet 1 sat at 1.2x. If you win, your balance goes up by 0.2 sat, which you can't see. You need to win 5 times before your balance goes up 1 sat.

Maybe you should report it to stunna so they can see that problem is existing and to be fixed immediately, and as i've seen the site is running good at my end but if you notice some bugs well maybe that is one of the existing problem for some major updates on pd, so report it now to help stunna clear those mess and make the pd play experience be more good.

We know that but why is it that at first it rounds down and then later on it rounds up? Its a very small amount and not really an issue, and since he is using the autobot, I don't think he cares about the very small difference but how is the value calculated exactly?

3*1.5 = 4.5 (shows 4)
4*1.5 = 6 (but really 4.5*0.5 = 6.75)
6*1.5 = 9 (6.75*0.5 = 10.125)

Thanks i forget to include house edge. Im going to test again.

But i dont get why sometimes seems to round down and sometimes round up. Hope house edge fix my problem.

You have to wait until support section reached the queue, there is so many pending support tickets and support is very slow like snail because some users submitted more than 50 tickets for same problem, that is the reason everything getting delay.

If you're trying to accomodate everyone, Stunna, what about effective chat moderation? Like IP bans or only one account allowed? Because now everyone suffers over few retards destroying chat everyday and it seems nothing can be done about it. Not to mention mods are much less seen these days and sometimes those assholes can do it literally for hours. And yes, I know there's ignore function, but I think that's not the point - if it was, why keep mods on chat at all, right?
