Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers
The only way to hack bitcoin is by the use of keylogger. One must be aware of the tasks performing before entering the private key. Also, the security of your bitcoin depends on the knowledge of the user. Bitcoin cannot be blocked to illegal users because it is decentralized.

The bitcoin network has been running non stop for around 8 years, there is around 20 billion USD worth of value on the open network. With all the money hungry hackers in the world out there, none of them have been able to break the bitcoin network and steal that money. I’d say pretty secure…

Absolute security on the Internet does not exist. Therefore, bitcoin, like any other cryptocurrency, is not completely safe and secure.

If not for bitcoin's security against hackers, maybe bitcoin will not live longer until today. Another proof is bitcoin's price because it is too expensive which means investors do trust bitcoin because it is secure.

The blockchain technology is really secured. It is programmed with immutable system, meaning no one can hack into its ledger. But Bitcoin can be hacked like the usual money we have. It can be stolen. But their are many ways how will you secure your Bitcoin. You just have to study it because hackers today are very aggressive.

While a lot of people disrespect bitcoin daily it hasnt been hacked or something similar ever.
That's what make bitcoin so secure, it develop has been the longest and the best over the years.
I don't think anything like this happens to it. I think if it has to be happen then it has to happen till now but I think it is so secure like any other bank or fait currency. Bitcoin is so much secure but if you don't secure your password or account i think that is one possibility that maybe your account hack by hackers so secure your wallet or password in a safe wallet .

In my opinion, bitcoin is really safe, no one can steal your bitcoin when it is in your wallet. You need to be careful about securing your passwords.

Only you can be your own security. Whilst the business is profitable, you must  be extremely careful to ensure your details and transactions are safe. You can try settings apart devices for each transaction on line. That way no one can tract your affairs online. I hope I have been helpful to you

So far there is no bitcoin that has been compromise during an execution of transfer or while holding it in a wallet but most common issues regarding the security are those hacked exchanges which is definitely has no connection with the security of the bitcoin itself, in my opinion i think bitcoin is really secured and no one can steal it from you as long your password or key is in a safe place where no one can have an access but only you.

Bitcoin is secure but there are always loophole in the web that a hacker can exploit.
I read a news before that worth 75M dollar worth of btc been stolen.
But majority of the lost of bitcoin happened because of our negligence.

There are definitely risks with Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. There is the risk that government regulations will make them fail or somehow the government or banks get control of Bitcoin and it’s no longer decentralized.

There is also the risk that you lose your private keys or your wallet gets hacked. There is the risk that and exchange that holds your coins will steal them or get hacked. It’s a risky investment for sure, but there is also the chance that we will all become wealthy from it.

As far as I know, Bitcoin is the most secure crypto that has ever been created as it has been exposed to all known attacks and still remains strong or even stronger as more blocks are created.

yes i it is because bitcoin is the most sucure currency it this world and bitcoin is have a full security to al of the users that protect their account to hackers.
Definitely the Bitcoin is really secure currency. The Bitcoin is the virtual currency that is why there is no need of banks and any other source to place your money for its safety. You have to take care about the security of your token no. There is no physical appearance of Bitcoin. The main thing is that the price of Bitcoin is rising and rising and going to the double of its price in 2017. The transaction through Bitcoin is too fast in speed and secure in processing.

Most of the reasons why people loss their bitcoins is due to negligence, if they do make secured of course someone will take
advantage to that and will steal your bitcoins. We have to treat bitcoin as a very special asset that will give us good return of investment why
we are holding it for a long period of time.

If it's not safe why people are investing in bitcoin. Logically it is like that, it is certain bitcoin is very safe, no one will be able to steal your coins unless you own a careless password and your private key.
