I don't think bitcoin is really secure because if your private key is stolen and your wallet is fucked up.

For me it's a yes bitcoin is really secure and i am confident that no one hackers can stop the good future of bitcoin, maybe our wallet or bitcoin wallet rather is the one we should secured or pritect vert well because the hackers target is the wallet that is not really secured so my advice is always use a valid email and make s stong passwrord.

Bitcoin is really safe. Bitcoin's wallet is also safe, you can transfer your money to your account. Bitcoin is safe so your wallet has to be protected from the hacker.

I think bitcoin is safe, because to be able to spend Bitcoin, the owner needs a special line of code called "private key", and the private key must be valid. This line of code is stored in a "wallet" or digital wallet. Private keys can be stored locally on the computer.

Yes and no. There are a bunch of vulnerabilities which you need to take action to avoid:

get a password manager

go changing every password you have. use several characters (30+)

create and memorize a 7 word master password, at least

then go setting up 2fa in every account you have. no SMS, google authenticator

every time you set one up, write down the code in case you lose your phone. Pen and paper, no prints

make two copies, store in separate places

put a pin on your phone

buy a hardware wallet (one that has a screen on it). if you're really paranoid, you may buy two of them from diferent brands - if one of them presents a software vulnerability, the other probably won't, since the softwares are independently developed

set up your wallet. write down the seed with pen and paper - NO saving it on the pc, NO flash drive, i don't care if you encrypt it - just don't save it digitally in any circumstance. No printing either - pen and paper

actually write TWO copies of that seed. be creative and store it somewhere where noone will find it

every time you transfer bitcoin, triple-check the amount AND the first and last 4 characters in the address

if your coins really grow in value, get a fireproof safe and put the seed in there

bank vaults are an option too, and they're good because you can leave the vault access for your relatives in your will

Yes bitcoin is really secure in fact bitcoin created since 2009 and no one haven't got a chance to hack it. Although Bitcoin is a purely digital currency, it can be kept secure in analog form. Paper wallets can be used to store Bitcoins offline which significantly decreases the chances of the cryptocurrency being stolen by hackers or computer viruses.

Bitcoin is more secure than most existing financial services, including legacy banking platforms like SWIFT, which has been compromised repeatedly by hackers.
But all of this speaks only to the technical security of bitcoin. Its financial security is another matter

Bitcoin is Bitcoin it is secured and safe just keep buying btc and hold

And if bitcoin is not really secure, then why does more and more investors are investing on this digital currency? I don't think anyone should invest on a particular currency if it is not secure in the first place. Smiley

Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers
Bitcoin is really really secure, why? because bitcoin is protected of the professional Information Technologies and Programmers, and bitcoin cannot be easily banned or hacked because bitcoin is protected of the government too.

Save your private key in somewhere that you can secure good will protect your wallet from hackers. They can't do anything if they don't have your wallet private key .

bitcoin is safe and secure as long as you dont get pished from phising sites , well if they get your login accounts or privates they can access your bitcoin. why they dont ban users who use it for illegal transaction? i dont think so if there are laws existing. or maybe its hard to find illegal transactions  in deepweb.

For risk takers yes it can be safe and profitable while for those who didn't understand deeply for sure they've got their own position about bitcoin, it's secure from my part as I can personally take care of it using my wallet, and from where I am right now bitcoin can be exchange easily without restriction.

All we know about hack attacks on the services that were well-known and it seems like secure. But nothing were helpful. In the Internet there are nothing could be considered as secured. Take a additional security measures.

Bitcoin security is a Internet based security so i think it could be hacked if hacker want .Finally i want to say that for your BTC security you can use blockchain and you should be alert about your password, you won't share your password with anyone.

indeed bitcoin can be hacked, all we have to do is how we secure our bitcoin, so be careful if we have a lot of bitcoin, we need to find out where we can secure some of our bitcoin, because a lot of hecker now, safe Bitcoin is not dependent on us to secure it well.
