Well, the bitcoin is very secure to the level where no hacker or computer program can hack into it to steal people money or shut the network down. Bitcoin network is peer-to-peer which makes it unhackable to anyone person or computer. Bitcoin is decentralized, thus, no government or corporation can stop it. To stop the bitcoin you must shutdown the internet which is not possible.

Bitcoin is safe, the reason for losing bitcoin is largely due to you. When you do not understand the reason, it will hurt Bitcoin confidence, and you think that this is unsafe.
It is not good to trust in case of bitcoin because sharing your bitcoin wallet password means you are allowing someone to use your bitcoin and sharing your bitcoin with them. if you will spend your money in bitcoin and put your bitcoin in wallets like paper wallet or any online wallet you will feel safe and no one will take your bitcoin, I use blockchain and I am happy for It that it has proved safe and benefuiacial for me.

Oh yeah there is no doubt about it bitcoin is secure. Like if someone was to us bitcoin to simply transfer payments between private wallets using something like tor network then payments have potential to be truly untraceable i think. The only problem is it is to secure that when people loose their passwords to a certain wallet then all that bitcoin is lost and cant be replaced.

Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers

Bitcoin is safe and no one can steal bitcoin, the thing to note is the user's negligence. So keep your key wallet well.

Nothing is 100% safe on the network, if it is connected to the internet it can be hacked and is vulnerable
Since bitcoin is future and its rising at an astounding rate hackers will try to get into the system
Bitcoin transactions are still safe but if you accidentally leak your key or any private data there is a major threat to your wallet

If this isn’t peak bitcoin, I’m not sure what is. This week saw a staggering price run ($17,000!!!) along with wall-to-wall media coverage, and was capped off by the CEO of Coinbase—whose core business is bitcoin—telling people to calm down and invest responsibly.

Yes it is, but you need to keep your private key or paraphrase in order to protect your wallet from the thief and no one can get it to you.

You must keep good care of your wallet, and don't be careless against transactions in bitcoin. because I've experienced it, and essentially do not rush in each transaction.

Yes bitcoin is secure i have never experienced with the hacking because i have a small amount of bitcoin for making profit and i can say that i am using a secure wallet that's why i am satisfied with the security of bitcoin. Those who have any problem regarding bitcoin safety they have to change their wallet like we have many wallets available through out the world.

Nothing can ensure absolute security, high returns also mean high risk, the world is not so perfect, if so, everyone is a millionaire.

For me bitcoin investment is more secure than any other coins in the crypto market. Bitcoin is more established than any coins also bitcoin will more likely to survive than any altcoins.

If I’m not mistaken we have once come close to an actual 51% attack when a certain mining group managed to reach 51% of the mining pool so not really

What do you mean by bitcoins ? Are you taking about Wallets which almost everyone using it to store there coins ? If yes, then my answer is same as most of people here.  Wallets can be hacked easily. Many hacker use phishing trick or virus contain .exe extension to stole your and your pc details. I don't know about bitcoins but wallets can be hacked.

The only problem in bitcoin is how secure is your wallet. Online wallet is prone to hacker's that you need to check every time if your coins is still there.

If you are very careful not to make any mistakes - nothing will happen to your bitovines, in itself it is very safe. Another issue is that not all wallets to store crypto currency are safe.

Bitcoin is the safest crypto in any crypt currency. It can never be hacked unless you are careless in your purse. If you share your personal key with someone, your wallet will be hacked, otherwise it's impossible to steal your btc

Of course, he would not have received such popularity and stability in the world if his safety were unreliable.
