What I usually do when price falls? Well it depends on what kind of trading do I do that time when Im in short term I set stop loss and when Im in to long term trading I put it on hold.

If we do saw one direction on movement of prices then i dont really consider it as a trading since market goes 1 way which is somehow results and possible movements would be just the same. Most of the crypto and altcoin generally change their value at a regular interval. Every people who are related to these coins invest there for benefit but what should they do if the price falls? The mind of a dealer can decide that and all things depend on that thing. Hold your coins and keep calm. Also, the "Buy low, Sell high" Rule might help, if btc's price are aiming high then that's the right time to sell your coins to get more profit, on the other hand, if btc's price is falling then buy as much as you can.

Yeah cutting loss is not a good option at all and as we all know bitcoin has promising nature an bitcoin never give loss so it is good for us to hold our coins because in holding there is no risk and our revenue stay safe and those who do panic selling in the time of fall they regret in the end when coin holders make money, and holding is also good for making more profit so I see holding a good thing to do in such situations.

Let me tell you what the smart people (not hodler) really do when there is a general correction in the market like "The X-mas Crash" that happened recently in the late December 2017. Once the market started misbehaving by dropping up to 10% they dump all coins and wait for the market to stablize before putting their money back.

What I usually do if prices are falling most specially if the coins are very low, I would buy more coins from a much lower price and your total amount of couns would then be divided; the result would be lesser losses. Read or research on google about books or ebooks on trading.

Yes as we know, if price is fallen its a chance for some trader to buy as much as they can. Most of the trader always hunt for that situation so that trader can minimize there expense.
In orther to buy bitcoin it would better to wait for the time that the value will fall down, so that we can buy it in a cheaper value and a lot we can buy.

If the prices of coins are falling, make sure you have some balance on your wallet, it is the time to buy some coins that you think it has a good possibility in the future to increase, in that case you profit may increase in the past days. And talking about the coins you are holding, lets just add some of them to minimize some losses when dumping (DCA)
However, this should apply to the top market cap. For the new altcoin I think it is difficult to predict its decline. Sometimes there are many altcoin drops very strong (-x00%). Consider joining altcoin

For me when prices are falling i will never sell, instead i will buy more maybe to at least recover the possible loses, when it go up again, if btc goes down most probably some altcoins tends to go up, maybe you could sell the altcoins that has the highest price and hold the ones that goes down😃

When prices are falling it us advisable you put a stop loss on your trades. As a trader you've to be sure you aint selling on a loss, so if the prices are falling and you can't be patient enough for a rise in price again, you can sell off, but make sure you aint selling at a loss

Don't use your bitcoin to buy altcoins when the price is falling. Altcoins prices are depending to the market in bitcoin so when it's falling it is affected and you can just buy few coins with it. But if you'll keep on holding your bitcoins and you'll be calm and patient during those times it will be worth it to see that you endured that time when the market of bitcoin is moving unstably and on negative way.
