If the prices of coins are falling, make sure you have some balance on your wallet, it is the time to buy some coins that you think it has a good possibility in the future to increase, in that case you profit may increase in the past days. And talking about the coins you are holding, lets just add some of them to minimize some losses when dumping

That is depending on the token if you believe on that and knows that it will have a good price then it is much better but if it is only a shitcoin you better sold it. But most of the altcoins its better to hold.

Decisions will always depend on what alt it is, if it's potential for increase, then those reds were a good news to buy more but if not better sell it already, I make sure that somehow we eventually have those top alts to hold and wait for their pumps. The smartest way to do when prices is falling is to catch it. Take the opportunity to buy some more. Just be sure that the coin will recover lately.

don't panic and read the related news why this coin is dropping. after that its a good time to decide whether to sell of hold on to your coins

When price is falling, all i can do is hold and do nothing, i mean is wait.

Long term holding is a must but sometimes it doesn't work, like what happened when I bought a certain coins in its dump I decided to just hold it but after a month the exchange has removed the coin because it doesn't have any value  😂. But it was the best option for bitcoins if the price was falling but in other altcoins we must have to background check it before we decide.

When prices drop you have 2 options:
1. Sell as fast as possible to reduce the damage to your property.
2. You can DCA to get back your capital.
Here are two ways that I usually use when my coin is discounted. I usually use 2 more because the coin I invest is usually very good, it is reduced due to bad news so I usually take DCA to get back my capital then continue to hold it.

Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling.  Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).

which I do when the price falls is only able to wait for the price back up, because if you sell will get a loss and it will be difficult to restore the trading capital that you sold earlier loss. the key is you have to be patient and do not get hooked easily.

We're now in a bull market and long term holding works here. If you pass through another bear market in altcoins, holding wouldn't make that much sense to us because it would be meaningless in a bear market.

Will if bitcoin price drop so I will never cut or lose I will keep in touch with bitcoin because bitcoin did a lot for us and it’s not a good way to say good buy to bitcoin it normal and it can happen any time any place because bitcoin is a digital currency and it can happen any time so just wait for a right time and bitcoin have such a good quality that it change its price from low to high very fast so keep in touch with bitcoin.

Divert your attention in your other coins because I'm sure that a lot of people here are holding many different coins in their portfolio. Just focus on the gains because I'm sure that those that fell will recover after.

If my advice we should not quickly panic. Opportunities we can take from Bitcoin's declining price to make a profit are, by buying Bitcoin at a low price to resell when prices soar.

This is true when we have many different coins on our possession we can minimize our loses when some of the coins are falling in it's price. Sometimes we can just cut loss our investment if some of our coins are falling but this is very risky because after selling it for low price the price will regain.

That is correct! If price of a coin invested is falling, it's better to invest in altcoin while waiting for a preferred coin(  (Bitcoin, Ethereum, litcoin, etc)to rise. Now, the only thing that is certain is that coins are volatile and can rapidly change in price. If a coin is in short supply, people will pay more for it; if there’s an abundance, the price will fall. Whether you’re trying to get a ticket to the Super Bowl or trying to catch a last-minute flight during the holidays, the law of supply and demand comes into play.

The first thing I did was to stay calm when prices fell. The second thing I didn't think of was panic selling. If I can, I will book the profit right away. I choose to sell it in this interval. If not, I will choose to keep it.

And I believe that is the way of a professional trader. Some people just think about the increase while for trading it is essential to have a decrease in the price also. That makes it possible for the trader to increase the amount of his asset.

In the worst case scenario one must at least hold on his digital coin during the downfall. This will avoid any sort of loss and that is one of the thing that everyone is chasing here.

Many people are panicking when the price of their coin is falling and then suddenly sell it. What you must do is wait and don't let your emotion dictate what to do. Fluctuation of currency is normal even dollar are fluctuating. Do some research about it because you might regret in the end if you let your emotion dictate you what to do.

When prices are falling it's better to buy  and hold until you want to sold it. Because you will profit a big amount. There's a big possibility to make your money multiply 10times or more. It's good to buy when price is down, because you will profit that will give you your future you hope for.
