So one algorithm at a time.  To understand power usage - I'm looking at the Giant B and the highest power usage is Blake256R14 @ 410W.  So since it would only mine that one algorithm at a time I'd only need just over 410 watts - so a 800W PSU would suffice as Gongolo said?  I was thinking of getting one of the HP server power supplies with a breakout board.

Okay so i am finally back home. The green leds on the hashboards keep on blinking while the other colors are constant. Any idea what it means?

Isn't there just 1 green LED which is for the ethernet port?

nah there are green LEDs on the hashboards too.

so I let it running. the Ethernet port is working fine. seems to be connected and responding.

each hashboard has two red LEDs and one blue on(occasionally a green on pops up)

several restarts did nothing. not showing up on my ip scanner.

got the pizero out. then I realised i don't have a microSD card reader. fun  Cry

so do I just flash the firmware that I found on baikal's website(pizero_GX10_1712)? what the hell do I even use to flash or is it just a copy paste and overwrite on what is on the X10?

For DGB, you could try myr-gr too: 150W only.

i just get a x10, still a bit confuse on some items

1) how to check os image version?
2) what is the purpose of the usb port?
3) temperature 0-40 Celsius is for chip or something written below the page (beside load)
4) what the hell this load (below the page) means?
5) can we delete the backup list, just to precaution not load x11 as plan to use 500w PSU.

1. Use terminal to login and check OS version
2. USB port, never tried, could be for connection?
3. I think Chip
4. Its just fancy work
5. Yes , sure.

Hello,
I need some help with my Baikal. It work and pool is ok (alive) but I don't have any hashrate on the pool!
See picture: http://www.bilder-upload.eu/show.php?file=e71ee3-1516035631.jpg

So I think something is wrong and my X10 don't want so send anything.
Any Idea?
Thanks

This is what I found out.
after update to firmware 1.1, the Accepted rate for the Miner with the new firmware is 2500 and for the 2nd Miner with the old firmware is 10000.

It seems the new firmware has a throttling effect in it."

Hashrate is the same for both miner.

Which means the Accepted rate, they are very different.

Can some linux expert modify giant B image for giant X10  ?

There seems to be an assumption that the Giant X10 and Giant B use the same or very similar hardware. Do we know this to be true?

Without all the source code, it will be difficult to do anything as decompiling will just create a mess.
