thanks to the cancellation of segwit2x, people will sell their bitcoins and probably invest in such nice ico projects like gatcoin i am looking forward to it ! Yes, it was quite unexpected (given all the blustering from the segwit2x shills) and I guess they would have made a lot of money from the insider training before the announcement. But it is great for Gatcoin, and especially the ICOs that were due to finish before the fork date. I hope so because this project have great and disruptive idea that can change our life!

Will be interesting if the rate of funding will increase now after the fork is canceled. I really hope so. i really bet with you, that the rate will surely increase bitcoin was at over 7.7k today and lost 700$ instant when the news came up about the cancellation. now, there is no wall infront of gatcoin ico to get more investors This is just the pre-sale SEELE, ICO will be next month, in the meantime maybe they will announce more partnerships regarding asian markets (and demo app will be out too!). I'll also keep an eye on COSS if they will offer some promo/airdrop

That's what people was expecting, to se some movements after the fork. Now with the cancelation I expect that the forecasts are advanced.

Is Gatcoin's ICO counter stuck? It is still at 31%. A lot of money has been pumped back into altcoins since the Bitcoin fork has been postponed. I thought Gatcoin would benefit from that too.

There were some turbulences with this current BTC drama but I'm sure that people will start investing soon

Actually I don't think the time is stuck. Maybe it just needs some time that the canceled fork will have an effect on the funding rate.

One explanation could be that it is easier to convert from Bitcoin to an existing coin on the exchange than to invest into an ICO.

Maybe some people might expect now a new altcoin ralley and think it will be more profitable to hold a specific altcoin than investing in an ICO.

no it will not be an other fork eth to fix this bug, those who have funds frozen(ico included) let s say bad luck, luckily gatcoin seems will have no consequences from bug...
i hope so to, that gatcoin does not have any problems regarding the wallet. but on the other hand, 150million dollar locked up is not small money, i guess we will see a eth fork coming if they cannot unlock those wallets. Well I don't know.. Vitalik is actually not very pro-ico's and he stated on twitter that he's not responding to the wallet issue. (for now)

Well surely know it when we get there. Yet I hoped it wont happen. Vitalik seems to be (understandably) hesitant to do another hard fork to recover the lost funds. Although it does sound a lot (especially compared to the DAO hack), it is not that much of the total ETH supply. I would predict that he brushes it under the rug just as he did with the previous hack a few months ago. I think the only potential way an ETH hard fork would affect Gatcoin is if the presale funds were being kept in a Parity wallet?
