Why you still mining on this dead pool after such many warnings, that all coins except PXC maybe are on wrong blockchain.

Only 1 mayner of L3+ worked at this pool. It has collected for several months, since then when the network was on the correct chain.

Why you still mining on this dead pool after such many warnings, that all coins except PXC maybe are on wrong blockchain.

I explain why.
1.) As a miner, I first search on Whattomine and other online calc for the coins that are profitable.
There are also the public pools listed which have the biggest hash for these coins.
Then I look in the explorer to see if the pool also pays.

2.) DGB Announcement tread still has this pool on the first page. The last pages have no information about the critical problems at the pools.

3.) Mining is just a side business for me. I have the full job and family. Sometimes I look around 5-10 different coins a day. That's why I can't spend hours searching all the forums for each coin.

In the case of TBF pool there is problem only with a first payment.
12 other payments were ok.

And besides, your statements are not correct regarding the TBF SHA256d pool.
The pool is in the right blockchain.

!!! UPDATE THE WALLETS !!!

Everyone should upgrade to DigiByte core v6.16.5 following the discovery of a network-wide bug found in Bitcoin, DigiByte and many UTXO blockchains:

https://twitter.com/DigiByteCoin/status/1042918575214874624

https://www.zdnet.com/article/bug-in-bitcoin-code-also-opens-smaller-cryptocurrencies-to-attacks/

https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2018-17144

"If an attacker controls or adds enough malicious nodes to the network and then causes a crash, he can execute a so-called 51% attack on the network and manipulate transactions for his financial gain."

"... attackers may attempt to exploit this flaw on smaller cryptocurrencies where the patch has not been ported yet, and where 51 percent attacks are even cheaper and easier to carry out when compared to the costs of mounting one against Bitcoin's massive network."

DGB Skein is still on version  6.14.2 !!!

Lucazane,

We've implemented the patch for the Bitcoin Core remote-crash bug (CVE-2018-17144) that affects all Bitcoin Core based wallets, now available for DigiByte Core.

https://github.com/DigiByte-Core/digibyte/commits/6.16.5

Can you make sure all algorithms are updated?

Thanks.

Why you called the pool scam??

I mine dgb for a year now and no problems

because a few weeks ago they stopped responding, no payouts.
They still owe me over a week of mining profit.
Read the topics here....

When a poolmanager doesnt respond, and no, not just within hours, but within weeks, there is no valid reason to stay there mining....
I mined DGB as well, now i do elsewhere.

still looking for the best profitable DGB mining pool though...  Smiley

Hi,
When I mine Digibytes using you Groestl Pool, the Dashboard on the right side is not showing actual stats.

https://www.bilder-upload.eu/upload/d8c3b0-1541159674.png
Would be great for monitoring purposes to have it back

Please assist.

My ANTMINER says "Socket Connection Failed"

I have tried all the steps mention on the bitmain site, still did not work.

So i set the miner to mine on other mining pool, it is working very well. Then i reset the mine to mine from my Blockfactory pool, it went back to "Socket Connection Failed".

Please who can tell me how to resolve this error.

NOTE: I set another worker details to know if my previous worker was the issue, still did not work. But the miner is working on other mining pool as i type this.

I think the pool is having some technical issue.

I notice that some of the links are returning error code.
let just be patient, till they fix it.
