you have it wrong:
sgminer.exe -k myriadcoin-groestl -o stratum+tcp://dgb-groestl.theblocksfactory.com:9003 -u username.worker -p xXx -I 20

instead and it should work
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Hi,

It is possible to mine DGB with Avalon6 (SHA256) ? As I can see, some uses antminer S7/S9, but what about Avalon6 ? Did anyone test / use it ?

Thanks my friends  Smiley

Summary : reward is calculated based on a range of blocks, so when you start mining the reward is always lower for the first blocks. It goes up after.

 Alex78 for skein (I think that's a ccminer branch).
 Not sure on groetsl, tried a few varients but they all seemed to work the same.

 ANY SHA256 miner should work on a DGB-SHA256 pool that can handle the S9.

As for this pool, if this is the one that my sister was talking about, it has been good for her so far.  She is using a solar power 10 PC grid, so she makes money, as opposed to making a small profit and then handing it back to the electric company.

Nobody an idea how to mine DGB with an AMD card?
I am using a RX480 with the latest drivers.

Which miner is the best for DGB and AMD Polaris chips?
I just get the error "no usable gpu detected"

I'm using an overclocked GTX 1070 with tpruvot ccminer, that's averaging 360 MH/s - after 16 hours of mining I've only got 64 DGB. According to this https://www.reddit.com/r/Digibyte/comments/6dexuy/mining_digibyte_at_home_for_fun_which_algorithm/ Reddit thread people with similar specs are averaging 350 - 500 DGB per 24 hour period.

I'm using Skein with TPS pool and am trying to figure out why I'm getting significantly less than what others are averaging?

From reading around, one answer may be my difficulty is being automatically set too high. However, when I've tried to set a fixed difficulty using the below instructions I get a stratum authentication failure:
"Setting difficulty : connect to the stratum server with XYZXYZ.workername_diffxxx (xxx is the difficulty).[NO VARDIFF]"

Anyone got any thoughts?

For reference this is my conf file that works:
{
"algo" : "skein",

"url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.dgb.theblocksfactory.com:9002",
"user" : "XYZ.worker",
"pass" : "XYZ"
}

And this is how I've been trying to set the difficulty, which fails authentication:

{
"algo" : "skein",

"url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.dgb.theblocksfactory.com:9002",
"user" : "XYZ.worker_diff0.128.[NO VARDIFF]",
"pass" : "XYZ"
}

or

{
"algo" : "skein",

"url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.dgb.theblocksfactory.com:9002",
"user" : "XYZ.worker_diff0.128",
"pass" : "XYZ"
}

Your DGB Skein pool has a serious issue:

Would this explain why even though my hash rate is 360 - 400 MH/s - over a 24 hour period I've only received a relatively low amount of DGB (80ish)?

No not at all - but there have been some blocks that exceeded the 500% very often. The point is the diff is increasing a lot since everyone is mining DGB.

I realise it varies significantly, however given a hash rate of 360 - 400 MH/s combined with the increase that's happening with difficulty - what should I be looking at receiving in a 24 hr period?

As from having read around, people with the same specs as recent as yesterday were averaging 300-500 coins - so despite the increase in difficulty I'm assuming there's some kind of bottleneck somewhere whether on my end or the TPS side?

Well the variance is so heavy that it is hard to tell even with my 12.000MH I have problems getting over 2000DGB.
The past days I made 4500-6000DGB per day and more.

Atm the pool again stuck.

I see, do you know if increasing difficulty would help?

Also are you using 18x GTX1080Ti to achieve those figures?  Shocked
