Y'know, I think the smart contract flaw that made me sell wasn't a mistake, given his behaviour I think the plan was to create himself some extra eBTC and dump it when it was worth something.

Yes you are goddamn right, that goddamn Reddit was right, that fucking fud was right, those goddamn newbies were right! I sold it for around 350 usd bought it again at 2700 sathoshi now selling at much less price.

When I sold it for 350$ I thought how idiot I am that selling at such low price. Now I realize that the really idiotic thing was buying this crap again. Bs anyway I will keep cursing myself for few days for this mistake.

But life goes...

I sold at 42c and got over a grand as soon as I saw the smart contract error. I was extremely lucky, so I don't have a right to be angry, but I still feel burned.

I kept my mouth shut and just left the eBTC community quietly because I had a family member with eBTC (though I urged him to sell he wanted to hodl)and I liked the community that had grown around it and didn't want to cause dumping. I'm actually ashamed and embarrassed that I didn't shout from the rooftops how bad that "mistake" was.

An Ethereum token as simple as eBTC takes no great skill to create, the fact that he fucked it up shows incompetence or malice.

I want to see working tech from now on, stuff that's ready out of the box, no promises, no great ideas that sound implausible , just stuff that fucking works and is worth something, any sign of incompetence and I'm out.

You know why I bought again? In starting there was some users who were saying that this coin gonna moon, only weak hands will sell it for some cents.

I don't think this will ever rise back, it was a short hype and is now gone. There is nothing revolutionary about eBTC, it was fun for a while but does have anything special. I wish people would stop to post stuff like "we will be rich in one month". No, you won't. And sorry to burst your bubble, but please stop expecting everything to moon

Do not worry guys it was airdrop but this group which bought eBTC are contacting a lawyer, from what I read from the group, his IP adress logs are there.. He scammed people, maybe had fun, but his ass will suffer soon as it seems  
Also the dev was logged in today in bitcointalk so there is nowhere he can run. He is very naive if he could though he is safe behind the PC, he should watch Edward Snowden documentary
