what happened to ebtc website, it is down.

Dev still active, i wasn't following this thread but have few ebtc.

Thanks

We gained private key and access to the wallet, all 362K unsold tokens and 20 ETH gained from the panic sales by Satoshi21 on EtherDelta. Satoshi21 is no longer with the team

I think that also goes to show that it was a “scam” just a scared dev who made a mistake he will regret forever as he will no longer be apart of this project.

The team that’s been working hard on all aspects of the eBTC are still here and getting ready to make an official announcement and secure the new domains and social media handles !

Great to hear guys..  Smiley Satoshi21 has created a monster and now its up to you guys to tame it.. Poor guy wasn't ready for what he unleashed!
The community has your back! Lets see where this thing goes  Grin

Transfer ebtc over exchange? I thought for swap, funds should be in wallet.

I transferred all by ebtc to mew with 15 ebtc fees, because of above reason.

You say to transfer funds to mercatox again?

Burnedbyfees xD

That is nothing compared with my Ether(gas) burned on Etherdelta without making a single trade. Consider yourself lucky.

Ok, well that makes sense then, I was wondering how I burned so much gas and only made 3 smallish trades. What a pile of garbage that site is...but the owners are making a killing with fees...and more so if they have real time trade info they can buy and sell to.

What is the point of this swap that everyone keeps mentioning? if Dev went rogue and dumped coins, I dont see what a swap will accomplish? You're just swapping out one token name for another essentially?  Seems like that would just hide the problem.  Why not just resume development on existing token?

there is an existing bug in the current token, hence why the swap will boost confidence that no one can manipulate the current coin supply which is at 20 mill or so. On top of that it also signifies a milestone that the current dev is serious in handling the situation as well as they ARE doing something rather than just talking .

Just read back a few pages and you’ll see we have the unsold coins and the profits from the sale of the deva share, he handed over the keys for the accounts and the project to the dev team, stand by for further updates

As a full member I’d expect you to be smarter, you can clearly check ether scan and see the account haven’t move funds out and we will be signing a message with the key shortly

Hope that's true and that comes directly from the people behind the eBTC. eBTC has already developed a one big community and hope the dev don't disappoint us and come up with white-paper, roadmap and a well planned strategy for the further development and growth of eBTC. Good luck.

I think this was a project that started for fun and I'm sure that satoshi21 wasn't intended to be a scam I'm 100% sure because He had every chance to disappear sooner with better strategy or even disappear later with millions of Dollars ,when cunning fraud fucking people start scams they  to some extent function better than legit people and they have plan Bs and Cs and whatsoever . They calculate more to deceive people to use their greed and ambitions , to ask them for more and use their attitude. This project simply got bigger than its creator and the creator couldn't take it anymore.I think he just wanted to get rid of it before it gets more serious and legal stuff gets in and etc etc.
