Hi, i am new in crypto.What does it mean and why a token swap?

The eBTC were generated by a smart contract on ethereum chain. But the contracthad a flaw inside that permit the author to generate eBTC token at will and to go over the 21Millions eBTC tokens max supply.
In order to patch this flow on the contract, the eBTC new team (the creator of the original contract left the team but pass the key of the contract to the team) will create a new smart contract. This contract will patch this problem and maybe add new features.
The token swap consists in sending our eBTC token from the old contract to the new contract in order to received automatically ebtc token from the new contract!

Beware for the token swap, only follow confirmed source from official website or reddit or twitter and double check before doing anything

Can't imagine, privkey in bunker and never show to anybody, he's not able to stole first time cause no ether for gas, then he send me 0.02ETH and push tokens, if you see his transactions he stole 5 times eBtc airdrop amounts

It is not hard to belive in something given free, and just wait to raise. The token just drives impression from BTC like a copy and doesnt differentiate nothing from any token random created.

I agree with you. It's always good to have skepticism in the beginning. Specially after what has happened but it's just unbelievable after all the fud this coin is doing better and better everyday.  Nice to wake up and see the coin higher than what it was before I went to sleep last night.

Me too I do hope that it would not drop down below .1$ until coin swap announcement if this happen there should be a bright future for this token. hope fully it can release its white paper to know how realistic their plan is. good luck to all of ebtc believers

Nowhere?  lol this coin came back from a total disaster from 2 cents and growing. Currently at 17 cents. Yes, it will go up and down but the steady growth pace and community is what I look at. Original dev was an idiot and you can notice the difference with the new team and the results.
