Can maths help you win in gambling ?

I just read one article that's about math can help you win at roulette game then i want ask with you all, did you believe math can affect to gambling games? i'm not expert in math so i don't know

Since Gambling is by luck, there is not much of a difference if you know maths or not.

Maths is involved in gambling up to some extent because it plays its role in distribution of cards and in the middle of the game in different turns. However luck is the major thing which is involved in gambling besides which contributors are also present in which maths, experience and smart work also contributes to increase the chances of your winning.

I don't think maths will help us in winning the gambling if that is possible then most of the mathematics experts and professors will become millionaires by continuously winning in the gambling so nothing can make win us in gambling other than luck.

Mess statement, you say you believed math can help you win in gambling but later you said almost no chance to win in gambling using Math.

Even in real card game I believe math can't do anything and even if there is, do you still have time to compute? As for lottery, because of curiousity i've search about it few years ago if math can do anything about it and I found, all is just a hoax. Logic, why would they sell those formula in a small amount which is incomperable to the amount of jackpot in lottery.

Card counting (which is a form of maths) can definitely give you a better chance of winning if you're playing a game like Blackjack, and betting on odds/evens and colors will give you a better chance of winning at Roulette, so it's all about increasing your odds of winning.

maybe it will work in the card games like blackjack or games with probability if you can master math so you can calculate the chance of winning. but I don't think that it will always work since you still need to depend on the luck factor and I think if you don't have a luck, you cannot win the games too. I never try this because I am not in calculate my chance in gambling games.

Apparently, math could somehow be a hint or a help to win in gambling because everything has math. However, it will require an intense computaion which is I am bad at, I'm suck at math so everytime I play gambling I only rely on my luck and as always in the latter part I ended up to a loser. Studying of Probability could increase your winning rate hence, focus on that one.

I would agree. In some games you do need and can use different calculations to help you win. i believe most games are based on luck, and you can only product an outcome.

Maths can help you in calculating the numbers quickly in mind which can be an added advantage as against the opponent and this can help you in wining some of the games in the casinos if not all. So just check around such games and take advantage of it.
