I believe that ICO can be very profitable. I got a lot of profit from these projects and I continue to believe in this industry. But I understand that these are big risks.

I still believe in ICO's because it always depend on the team! If this project consist of great idea, great minds and best developer team then it should be successful. There are still many good projects. Maybe we can see in the future new "Google", "Apple" & "Facebook".

Of course i still do. Eventhough there have been so many ICOs that are unseccessful or in some way unrealistic with its targets/goal, there are still that are successful and are worth an investment. There are a couple of ICOs that have been thriving and doing a great job in their respective projects. So long as they can keep up with the demands and its technology continuously improving together with their investors, then i guess i can call that a successful ICO.

Many icos choose to advertise the sale very heavily. These ads can be on popular crypto websites,on websites that list lots of upcoming icos, and even on normal websites through google or another ad partner.Avoid any project that advertises heavily because these projects are almost always just money grabs.Responsible teams do not spend heavily on advertising and let the project speak for itself.

To believe in ICO is a bad idea. But to believe in a product with MVP is quite another matter.

The problem here is people want a blink of an eye profit. Most ICO's need to be developed in 3 or more years time maybe more. People are expecting project to go bloom in just months, that's why they are ending up selling all their coins without even understanding the roadmap of the project. I've invested thousands in some ICO, last year and they are giving a promising return now. Because many ICO's are appearing I think it is better to review everything because you might end up broke. Don't invest in some "too good to be true", but never missed those who can make that "too good to be true" line in the next two years.

Now more and more ICO projects emerge in an endless stream, and many ICO scams also emerge. What we need is to polish our eyes, carefully study ICO projects, and select successful and promising ICO projects.

Some people say that they don't believe and ICO anymore, yet they are doing airdrops and joining campaigns.  Grin

Yes i believe in ICO that's why im here and joining some bounty campaigns. Some of the ICO is not good or scam but i will try my best to have a good ICO to promote using my account in facebook and twitter and by wearing their signature to earn good coins.

Yeah I still believe, the INS was recently successful I hope this social media market which I'm campaigning now will success also to be able to get tokens again. And don't forget the ICO's are giving us profit if you enter with them using signature campaign but take care for the fake ICO spreading now be sure you engage the real one.

The problem is that people do not do their research and invest in whatever it comes to them. So yes there are a lot of underperforming ICOs, but you should understand that you need to vet the project, the team, see if it could work, look at the fundamentals, etc. And only select the best ones.

Listen, bad or good ICO you decide yourself, if you approach this case wisely and study where you invest, then you will not have to be disappointed, that bad ICO have gone, you do not need to blame someone else, you do it yourself, you in it to blame.

The number of successful ICO's are decreasing dramatically.  Just wanna know about successful ICO's in the fourth quarter of 2017 and if anybody still believes in  ICO's.

Believing the ICO is depend only the person who trusted and join this kind of investment.actualy when you join in ICO investment you put all your trust to those campaign because you truly believe, that you become profitable, into this kind of project, thats why you invest some amount of your capital, because you believe and trust the project.while in my own self Istill believe the ICO project but i filtered and research there credentials if its legit because i cared my investment that will return to nothing and wasted.

ICOs are definitely important for the success of the Blockchain > 1.0 coins.
The tech people noticed that with a reliable immutable distributed ledger, you can build really cool functionality on top of that.
Thus Bitcoin can be thought of in terms of Web 1.0. Of course we all know how the Web became modernized with all the cool apps we see today.
Thus ICOs will be the 'apps' that fuel the new blockchain technologies: they will definitely be present in 2018.
For example, Multiversum, which will have a repository blockchain solution.

Yes. personally I still believe in ICO though  some  are not successful but still  I believe and support ICO. Many people upon joining in one project their expectation is too  high and also they want automatic profit.  Most ICO's needs to be developed in a  year or more. So before joining in a  certain project  make a  careful study and a  research so that your expectation will come to reality.

I definitely still believe in ICOs, but my two cents is that registration for one should really be a process regulated by probably a government body or just a private entity who is responsible for filtering shady companies that does not even have a working concept nor an actual product that they are planning to produce.

A lot of ICO's are really just there to scam people which is very sad for the crypto community. When having someone to look over your shoulder for where you should put your money in can lead to other unsavory things like corruption, I guess what we can do is just to look out for each other and tell each other redflags as we veto the ICOs we want to join into.

I do. As we all can see world is slowly switching blockchain platform in different spheres.
Next ICO where I'm planning to participate is gonna be concerned educayion (which is promissing for sure, as we can't reject eduction and it'll be constant part of human being) so, it's disciplina project, educational service.
I think that we shouldn't write off ICOs but need to be more accuarate with them

That's true about crpto involving everywhere. So, I support you. Bu the way, I've heard about this project. Are you going to invest?

I'll try for sure. As I used this portal before it's starting to be blockchain platform , I trust them

What portal? I dont see any portal above.
And the portal can not make sure that the project is good or not.
Trust the project is very necesarry but not because simple thing but more complicated like checking whitepaper, make sure working product, the team and of course community.

There's an issue regarding the 46% of ICO that failed in the year 2017 but as you can see, there are 54% of ICOs in 2017 that are still on going which means that not all ICOs are scam. To be honest, I still believe in some ICOs because of the project and the team members who keeps on doing their best service to everyone.

Do you have any reasons why you still believe in ICO? Maybe your reasons could give me a lot of insight about ICO these days.
Personally, I still believe in some of ICO. But based on my statistics, most of ICO can't survive for a long time.

Definitely Yes! We still believe in ICO because as far as I know, Initial Coin Offering is legit. Although we heard many scam ICO, but mostly ICO has become successful. So much better to research it first, read their white paper and their roadmap. The team for that ICO campaign is also important, so we need to communicate them in the telegram.

I personally a strong believer in crypto and blockchain. Even though many said ICO is scam. But i do think ico ia intergral part of crypto space. The crowd and with the help of regulation will eventually filter out suspicious projects.
