All of have been saying the same thing after 1 august hard fork where the upward trend of alt coins were destroyed permanently. We have big loss with alt coins, hopefully, we'll have profit in 2018 in alt coins.

I sometimes do feel like this, but that's just because I look back at the Bitcoins I exchanged to get my current bag of alts. It looks like I've lost almost half of my money when I compare like that, but then it's important to remember that this is regret talking, available because of hindsight. Remember that diversification is the primary rule to follow with investments. Sure, we could have made much more if we invested all in BTC, but what if it didn't rise like this?

By buying altcoins with Bitcoins, we diversify, and we move risk away.

I comfort myself by comparing fiat value to my alts... which have ALL gone up. So take that instead and don't regret

Exactly, there is one more important thing which matters even the most than that of choice of coin and that is your skillset and the decisions which you make and that too at tough times. It is totally unfair to blame altcoin for that loss which you just suffered and that too from your very own mistakes. You actually need to learn from your mistakes and you have to go for making better plan as well as decisions in the future.

After all alcony has shown remarkable growth in may June. Some do X50-X100. And people said that if you want to become rich quickly then you should invest in aldony they grow faster.

And that's the end of the year. Some altcoins from its highs dipped to 95%. And the cue ball during this time did x 10 with the beginning of the year. Confidently is quiet.

So was it worth it to invest in Alta. If the cue ball brings a return. YES, even just with an incredible amount of free tokens in the form of forks.

But now the price of the cue is already 10,000 and I dopustim just fizicheski can't afford to buy 1 BITCOIN. So you have to investivate in altcoins.

In 2018 as you can see big investors will be prodljat to buy BITCOIN. And the little stuff will remain to us.

I think you are right and you should have known this before that BTC is a very superior currency and no altcoin can beat its profit. BTC profit is very high as compared to other altcoins. BTC can give you a proper stable income if you stay with and and not always hop over more profit and invest in alts.Trust bitcoin and it will make you a millionaire one day.

When I bought altcoins bitcoin wasn't doing shit and altcoins were going parabolic. It's obvious i got in Alts too late and ha rode them down. Anyone who got in to Alts after the alt boom in the spring is way down vs bitcoin. I was hopeful Alts would turn around but after this month it's becoming unlikely that Alts will ever reach an ath again vs bitcoin.

This is just the cycle, it has happened before and will happen again. Against USD there has been an increaqse to your value, against BTC however has seen a fall.
