The decentralızatıon and blockchaın propertıes of all the cryptocurrencıes out there have no other fıanancıal alternatıve. These tehnologıes wıll take tıme to be used by the mass populatıons of the world so the growth rate ıs slow but that does not ındıcte any prove for the death of cryptocurrencıes.

You are definitely right. I think that the people who scream Bitcoin will be 50K by the end of the year when the market is green are the same people who predict the end of crypto world whenever the market is down 2-3%.

Yes, a lot of people are moving away from alt-coins so they can get bitcoin into their wallets for the fork(s).  Many people will get their Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin SegWit2x and sell them immediately, then move into alt coins again.  Remember Warren Buffet's rule of investing:

2-3% happens everyday and I do not know anyone is stupid to be panic easy like that if really wants to invest into Bitcoin.
But 30-40% is different, you will see many investor were said Bitcoin will be $50,000 at the end of this year want to sell Bitcoin as soon as they can, haha.

Can someone explain the theory a little more clearly?
Bitcoin is going to rocket and alts dump? 
Or is the theory that BTC stagnates and alts gain like December? 

Obviously nobody knows for sure, but I like hearing any theories.

We're glad that it is now recovering even though it is just a little. But we are also hoping that it will continue to recover and reach the old value or exceeds it more because that is what we most desired. Why do you not buy at low price and sell it at high price instead of wait the price reach to old high price again? You have to know the whale can take advantage this defect to make the crypto market sideways a long time until the investor feel bored and give up.

Well you don't actually lose money unless you do panic selling. If I were you I'll still hodl up and wait for it's recovery. Instead, why not buy while the prices are low then hodl until it rises?

everyone will not lose money if it does not sell the assets of cryptocurrency owned, if you see the market is red why should be sold instead of supposed to be backed up or awaited to experience a profit but instead sold cheaply

Altcoins price is affected by big currencies like BTC, Ethereum and there will be always dumped and jumps.

This thread is getting some activity again with that altcoin dips in the last one or two days. Dont worry guys, you should buy some dip from projects that are in a very low range and maybe below ICO price. There will come better times!

Trading altcoin have its own season there is what we call red market which is happened on last quarter of the year and a green market at the end of last quarter.  You have to ride  the season or surf the waves. Make sure you don't get caught on the tides or else you will not get any profit or worst you might lost your initial investment. Don't get in hurry to have a profit all thing needs time and you are in a process of learning.

I dont think so because when its some of them are dying its means there's no one are not interested to it so its goes down and die but if they know they can get profit to it they give a chance that coin, so it can survive. Unlike bitcoin and ethereum it is now much popular so probably they will never die and possible to grow more and much profitable in this upcoming years.

holding alt has always been lime this. all the old coins get dumped
only major alts like xmr, xrp, eth and few of the
 numerous new coins should be held for profit.

Who cares, as long as the altcoin we hold still has potential with a consistent roadmap I'm sure sooner or later my altcoin color will turn to the green. all we need is to be patient and stay support. altcoin dying because of the effects of the degenerated bitcoin we must wait until mid-month,  I am sure altcoin will back to normal like a few months ago
