That's a 3rd party wallet you should never enter your private key or seed in any unknown wallet/tool UNLESS you have removed all bitcoin first that is the first rule of claiming any fork The only real issue was the official pool started mining on a different chain somehow probably something to do with the premine and they made good my crediting the accounts from their own pocket everything else is running good

1.)Stay away this guys not only premined. 2.)They inserted hidden feels in their open source pool releases. 3.)Official pools did not payout mining during the 1st day and has since promised to pay but has not even paid some yet. Other have received less than 20% of their total based on last balance which were provided by screen shot. They did not even factor the losses of about 12 hrs that miners continued to mine in their official mining pool without balance being updated. 4.) official pools have wiped out balances at least 3x since main net launch. Blames it on fork and bad SSD 5.)Lastly there are several reports that their wallets are causing BTC balances to disappear. Yes original Bitcoins
BEWARE OF THIS SCAM FOR A QUICK PROFIT
note: Premined amount is 100k coins. Coins selling point is decentralization of mining but they are screwing miners and not paying them. currently 70-90% of hashrate is only 1 pool. Makes it more centralized than Bitcoin itself!!!

Please show us your evidence before telling us your judgement about the project. you can check twitter feeds and there are complains or join slack from official pool and you will see some angry miners waiting to get paid

this coin is a fucking disaster.
Please show us your evidence before telling us your judgement about the project. https://github.com/StarbuckBG/node-stratum-pool/pull/1This oughtta be enough. These people are scammers and they're dragging the bitcoin name through mud. They got caught early but the so called "developer" probably made a shitton of cash even so.

Better switch to BitcoinZ. This looks like a project with a great future. No premine, no senseless copy of the whole bitcoin blockchain, nice wallet and good devs.

We are trying to broadcast a raw transaction from a mutlisig address through Bitcoin Gold Core and getting the error:
16: mandatory-script-verify-flag-failed (Signature must be zero for failed CHECK(MULTI)SIG operation) (code -26)
Anyone else try to get BTG from multisig addresses?
Any service offering to broadcast transactions yet?

I look here in this thread is very much dissatisfied, and a lot of posts with the negative, but still a topic to have an interest in the community. Apparently many are waiting for freebies. But still there were a lot of bugs at startup that says that the team is not very well prepared. Personally, I do not participate but watched from the sidelines.

I don't get it why people seems so unhappy. I will just hold the airdrop BTG. If it is of some value in the future, great; if not, it is OK.

I feel sorry for this situation because I know that BTG are not scammers. True the rumors that BTG have been stolen in mywalletscam, but they have not been. They have hacked other people's software until they reach mybtgwallet Even if they wanted to return the stolen money, they can not do it because everyone would ask for money ... on the other hand, I understand the people who trust a site and rob them inside that site ... it's a complicated decision, They have been hacked more than 30 times in this week! I'm very sad with all.

There is clear proof of scam. Even if you believe that mybgtwallet was hacked (which I don't) and you believe the massive premining ist ok (which isn't) there is still the behaviour after the chain spilt and the hidden fee in the pools ( https://github.com/BTCGPU/BTCGPU/issues/180)....

Never run code that you have not verified if you are capable of setting up a server and running a site you must also be capable of troubleshooting, preventing and counteracting attacks and understanding the code you are running. During the run up to the BTG launch there were many many scam sites and wallets most were warned against it was just bad luck one managed to get through this is why you ALWAYS make sure you REMOVE ALL bitcoin or whatever from any wallet before entering online there are NO exceptions. People have got so used to entering banking information online that they no longer think twice about it this needs to stop

There is no hidden fee, it is open source, everyone can see it and it is only a small amount ($ 1 / month, which is not the fault because it was loaded by third-party software). They removed that hidden fee and all the money has been returned. The miners are also receiving their money. I feel sorry for this situation because I know that BTG are not scammers. This is not true. The money has not been returned and a btg developper implemented the hidden fee that was not listed in the readme (not a third-party software, you can check this here: https://github.com/BTCGPU/BTCGPU/issues/180) I can't belive there are still people defending this behaviour...

Why do you speak without knowing? Internet is free to talk shit, I understand. It was not charged by a developer, it was charged by the company that did it. A meaningless misunderstanding and yes, the money is being returned in a general way at bitcoin.org There is no hidden fee, it is open source, everyone can see it and it is only a small amount ($ 1 / month, which is not the fault because it was loaded by third-party software). They removed that hidden fee and all the money has been returned. The miners are also receiving their money.
