There's nothing logical about acting out your anger. It's just friggin chemicals going through your brain. So step 1 - realize that acting out means you're a robot who cannot control himself (preprogrammed if you will). I don't consider myself a robot so I don't lash out when I'm angry step 2 - do things that are proven to normalize those same chemicals. Mindfulness meditation is king.
