A question, please: how much will we be paying electricity?

Thanks and regards,
Ilpirata79

KnC says 500w per Saturn Machine. Electricity in CT is pretty cheap. I believe it is $.08/ kwh I will double check.

.08 is quite good.  Let me know if you can get the exact amount though...

Thanks and regards,

I'm looking to sell my 2 shares in machine #2 -- no reflection on raginazn628, just need to free up a little BTC for another project.

PM me if you are interested.

Have you considered submerging the miners in mineral oil? Since mineral oil is not electrically conductive, there's almost no risk as far as I can tell. It would save on electricity needs to keep it cool, and just maybe make them more efficient.

Honestly I don't think it is necessary because it will not run that hot. Assuming KnC is correct at 500w per machine ... Oil will make it harder to maintain and clean. And oil costs a lot of money

Do your own research man. The saturns haven't even been prototyped or produced yet, so no, no-one has any, mining or otherwise. Estimate is November

from the newbie board

I kind of jumped the gun and sent payment to ragingazn628 for 5 shares (2.5 BTC) on 8th KnC Saturn (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=233624.0)

But I can't PM or post in that thread to let ragingazn628 I sent payment. Can someone please post for me and PM ragingazn628 the following information! I don't want to lose my slot on the 8th machine!

Transaction Details:

5 Shares @ 2.5 BTC

Tranaction ID: 74bada2476546fc223ea4e581cbbb7a7cd0a48c6f4f2748c11b980f220b78323
