FLO is definitely under appreciated but I'm not sure P&D'ers have the patience for FLO/Alexandria's steady but hype-free progress. This team doesn't pump/hype, so hope those bandwagoners are patient!
Some grassroots marketing wouldn't hurt though, I think that's the one thing this project really is missing - promotion. But that's also why I've held for years and never worried about it being a scam. Interesting times either way!

Today I completed a test package for Alexandria to help accelerate development. It automates the process of diagnosing protocol-level JSON encoding errors in the blockchain. Those pesky off-by-one errors and missing quotation marks that are impossible to find by hand are now detected with an automated script. It also allows us to test parts of the front-end without needing to wait for blocks mined on the blockchain. In the future it will help our beta testers figure out why their media didn't publish correctly if they happen to run into a bug. Segwit development and testing / planning for the difficulty re-adjustment hard-fork are underway. I'm going to write a blog post about segwit and Florincoin as well as the new difficulty retarget algorithm, why I chose the specific parameters, and how it will make mining better for everyone. |

This is actually a very good coin, Alot of people don't know about it. But its a very stable Scrypt coin. I think there is alot of room for it to go alot higher in the future. Alot of alt coins are getting settled in now and I feel this is starting to find its ground as well. Does anyone have any technical analysis for this coin in the short term?? Will be very helpful. any way to speed up syncing? downloaded the mac wallet and a timeframe of 4 years and my old macbook fan wont be best friends.
If a generate a wallet backup.dat how can I restore on another system? thanks in advance.

FlorinCoin is gaining momentum now and a lot more people are taking interest in this crypto it is become very stable and transactions are moving through smoothly. Mining pools all active and running, good solid team with a great vision, expect more from this crypto in the long run.
