i've added a pool for this coin:

https://flo.suprnova.cc

We're on the latest wallet and on the correct chain.

It's currently completely free, test as you like, we yet have to find the first block but it should work fine.

The hard fork looks to have been successful Smiley

The new difficulty adjustment algorithm follows the changes in hash rate much closer than previously.

It seems like everything has gone well with the hard fork! This is excellent news.

By the way, some criticism of 1 block retarget stems from the belief that it will increase the orphan rate. However, I've done some research on the matter with the block explorer. There have only been two orphaned blocks since the hard fork. Here is some info on the recent orphaned blocks:

Code:
| 425001 | efc69325a5f84b8027f6abde1ec9c951a4d260b2a65311b5fc7bb838c8f5b05a | 2014-04-22 17:22:26 |

From block 425,000 to 425,999 (pre-fork) there were 7 orphans. From 426,000 to 426,841 (current block height as of this post) there have only been two.

Hey vipgelsi,

You can find the difficulty here: http://florinexchange.com/api/

Or simply go to http://florincoin.info/ and check the difficulty on the last block mined.

there will be a story dedicated entirely to Florin on Cryptonerd.co over the course of the weekend. It'snot finalized yet, but the idea is taking shape Smiley

Did this ever happen or when will it happen?

sorry about that, it will happen, rl stuff has kept me busy over the weekend, but i have 4 days off after wednesday,:)

It's not something that'll be finished after an hour, it's almost a dozen page short story, so apologies for the delay Smiley

Better get another moving van... time to load up.
