Florin multi-coin API

I am currently working on an API which will enable users to send messages to the Florincoin blockchain.  The FLO miners still require Florincoin for their work, so this service will provide the miners with FLO in exchange for the user's other cryptocurrencies.



The API will be implemented in a browser-friendly adaption (pictured above) as well as a standard HTTP web service.

The purpose of this API is to bootstrap decentralized applications powered by Florincoin.  As long as this service or another service running the same free software exists it will be possible for users to engage in applications hosted on the Florincoin blockchain without needing to own any FLO.  Of course, fluctuating value will sometimes cause problems, but can be mitigated by charging a premium for payments received in non-blockchain-native currency.  Users will find that paying directly in FLO or downloading the Florincoin only client is advantageous in many ways.  For general purpose users, the web interface will be a frictionless and user-friendly environment.

Currently there is only a README, the code that exists so far is just my tinkering around with HTTP in Go.

I had to put this particular project on hold for a more pressing Florincoin-specific project that is closely related to the multicurrency payment system.

You can follow/star the repo and you'll get some notifications when I start the commit frenzy again

The price for Florin has fallen off a cliff.  Are the devs here still active or what's going on?  I notice a lot of other alts are also dropping hard so maybe it's just the market overall.

Any info from regulars here would be appreciated.
