I'm actively working on Florincoin right now - I work on it approximately 6 to 8 hours a day. Although, I am currently working on projects that build on top of Florincoin, not on the core code itself. You can see some of them in the previous pages of this thread. There is a rush to get decentralized applications pushed out, so I've been focusing on that rather than the core code. However, Skyangel has a core code update to update Florincoin to the newest LTC version, which is being tested as we speak. I should have actually been working on making that a reality sooner, since everything else I've worked on has been behind the scenes.

Thanks man, sorry to see such a low price given all your hard work.  On the bright side, the current price is a steal if there are good updates coming.  I paid 20,000 litoshi for my Florin Coins which I thought was a great deal at the time so that's why I was wondering what was going on.

It's not a problem at all. I don't concern myself with the price, and I welcome criticism with open arms.

Admittedly I was on hiatus for some months earlier in the year, and several of my websites that use Florincoin (the block explorer as well as Aterna Love) could use some updates.

I've found that there are like-minded people out there, and if you can connect with them, great things can happen. I'll be able to talk about my current project soon, but as of now, we're keeping things under the hood so we can underpromise and overdeliver.

That's awesome man, that's what I prefer.  You have a good rep so I would be buying if the price goes any lower [if I can get the BTC].

this is an interesting coin but the problem is this: even if I mined every single coin available in a day they're only worth about $40

not worth the mining effort.

you should fork the coin and make the block reward 500 coins instead of 100 - maybe then people will mine it.

The idea is to mine a coin you believe in so the future value will be much more.

One thing I've noticed about Florin is that there is not a lot of supply to be bought up.  If demand ever picks up I can see the price sky rocketing.   Too bad we can't reduce the subsidy and max supply cause that would further help alleviate rhe current inflation and dilution of the coin.  Otherwise this is a good coin to help diversify any portfolio.

Buying up some cheap FLO.

I added some as well when LTC went under $4.  How much Florin do senior members own here?  I like to have targets to shoot for.  Right now I think I own ~1% of the current outstanding florin coins.  I wish the max dilution would be cut with the next update but that's up to the devs here.  It would greatly help to lower inflation (subsidy) and dilution (max cap) to be ready for when demand picks up later this fall.

Would the devs here seriously consider cutting the inflation [subsidy] and dilution [Max Supply] in the next code update?  

It would really help increase shareholder value the next time demand picks up.  Exactly like a corporation doing a stock BuyBack.

I think it's a good move for any coins to do as it improves their valuation profile for new investors whom are investing savvy, and we'll get millions of these types over the next couple years.

That and a currency's value is determined by the following Formula:  Transaction Volume/Velocity + 1/Supply

Therefore:  To increase the value of FlorinCoin we need to either increase the tx volume, decrease velocity or decrease the coin supply.

The only one which can be done now, at zero cost and with significant [immediate] impact is reducing the supply.  

I truly hope the devs take this proposal into consideration before the next wave of investors hit cryptos, probably starting in September [next month].
