We are 99.9% electrum compatible. The only requirements are: one github port of the electrum client with biblepay chainparams. Then, someone would need to run the electrum server (LOL). So maybe we put this off til Jun 2018, unless someone decides they want to spearhead the electrum server. (The mobile devices connect to the electrum server and do not sync the entire blockchain).

Thanks a lot. Yes, I notified coinmarketcap through their Google Issues page. It says they are days behind so they probably have not updated the explorer yet. Alright thanks I will work on updating these literals in these pages.

Hi Togoshigekata, I think there was talk of developing a debit card for people to spend BBP. It is on the roadmap. This would be a big feature, although I don't know the details
There are at least 5 crypto-debit card providers in production on various chains. Here is one for Dash: https://uquid.com/dash-debit-cardIts similar to getting listed on an exchange, but they want to see some volume otherwise they dont want to work with us. I think we need to have at least 5BTC per day volume hitting the exchanges, then we could probably coax them into integrating....

Despite reading the OP, I don't quite understand what this coin is supposed to represent. Bible verses are hashed into chain? And what is the reason for that? Who is meant to use this currency?

No I didnt mean it as LOL on the Electrum server itself, it was just that two people just added BX's in the last day, so Im LOL'ing as yet another service that someone has to run forever. The other part of it is I was thinking no one will even use it until we grow a bit more... But if you want to do it its completely up to you. I believe we have about 1300 users, so Im not sure what the demand is going to be at this point.

It sounds like we need to grow our base before this and other things then. In my opinion, major things that will help this will be the sanctuaries, then making the wallet and Amazon purchasing super noob friendly. The of course, promotion and getting on new exchanges. Really exciting time for BBP! I wonder where we will be this time next year? Also, great news with the number or orphans Rob! That number is even more than are listed on the pool!

It is always good to go for Electrum if you can and would be a good addition to the 2018 roadmap to implement. Running the server would be for charity though.

This is in response to both the "Amazing" post and Togos post about rewards for reading the bible. So first, Ethereum pump-n-dump coins usually do look amazing. Thats because they generally have no code at all and just are composed of a smart contract with 100 lines of code that reward from the pre-mine cache for some "weak" activity. Were talking about a public deception stunt designed to lure investors in. Were talking about a design that rewards you for something that is Weak, and I say weak because its not a cryptographically strong activity to reward someone who claims they read a chapter of the bible. However moving on to Togos post, it is compeling to reward people for reading the bible. It could be possible to reward someone from the P2P budget. But I think that for us to be successful we have to make "strong" features. So I would want the reward to be based on something they did they proved that they did. For example if we create a program that makes 10,000 bible questions for us, maybe an algorithm that creates bible questions based on our NKJV.cpp bible class in wallet (for example, How many days did it take for God to create the heaven and earth? 6, 7, 0, or some random clip obtained by merging some other verses together?) Then we can create Unique questions where the user has to read the in-wallet bible to find the answer. Then if they answer, the cryptographic hash of the question and the answer is hashed in a way where the reward is reaped out of the coinbase.

That's really novel! I like it.

I did another round of advertising, I posted comments on every article I could from googling "christian cryptocurrency" And I made posts in the subreddits: /r/christianity /r/christian /r/libertarianchristian /r/christian_ancaps My goal today was to try and spread BiblePay to more Christians than to just current cryptocurrency traders If anyone has more ideas let me know! Id also love any resources you guys have to help people unfamiliar with cryptocurrencies learn about it.

we need to translate to more languages
https://www.reddit.com/r/BiblePay/comments/7dyabk/help_translate_website_documentation_to_other/=== "Do we have anyone on here who can translate the website to Korean? If we had a Korean version then we could target some of the Korean exchanges." -znffal === "I can translate the page to Turkish as well. Any chance to switch to wordpress so people can contribute on the website? My suggestion is a) having a modern wordpress theme. b) polylang plugin to translate the whole pages to different languages. c) admin configurates to have regular backups with xcloner" -ferohers === "I think if we had a few good wordpress guys we could really build it out, plus, we could open up the wordpress blog for sort of a recap of our dashboard progress, etc. So my main question is, if I temporarily create a subdomain for us (something like beta.biblepay.org) for our future wordpress website, who will volunteer to make this a great site, IE exceeding the one we have? I will turn the keys over to that person if I can see some commitment here. Then after beta.biblepay.org looks good and has a blog, we can copy it down to www.biblepay.org and retire the current web site? The whole community can watch as we build out the beta site and jump in and help with content" -Rob === I think Rob is looking for someone to step up and start the project if anyone is interested! If no one steps up Id be willing to take a stab at it (I dont have any wordpress experience, yet )
