Check it out, I can ship a bible to New Zealand! https://imgur.com/mKrnwF3EDIT: Interestingly, for this product it is the same price to ship to USA. Thats cool, good to know. The country USA is locked in our API currently though, but NZ and EU will be next if we get enough orders...

I'm having a strange issue on pool.biblepay.org After upgrading the wallets my HPS2 and shares are dropping every 20 -30 min or so . If for example 1 miner shares are going up to 90 - 95 then what happens next it's dropping to ~30 . All smaller miners are fluctuating in the same manner.
I wonder why it's hapenning ?
before upgrade it was pretty stable and my ryzen was running at ~ 90 shares all the time .

Yeah, its kind of funny I only hear negativity after being the first to have ecommerce in the wallet.
Yes, the price is dynamic it changes hourly. It includes shipping.
We would have to sell 100 bibles a month to break even, but we have the kiddies here who think we could stay in business by giving packs of gum away for free.
Oh yes lets cry poor. Let this kiddie do the math for other kiddies: - $2490 from the 8% pool fee (221214 coins/24hrs = 17697 bbp per day) - $1250 - $7356 PER sanctuary . You should soon publish stats on how many you got from that Does that not cover your 'costs' Where is the personal data from the orders sent? How can we trust its secure? Rob - the thing with you is you are not transparent and then the math speaks for itself. Then when I call you out on it, you delete to try to hide that truth. You are making MOUNDS of money so do not cry poor. No one is stupid here. In case of deletion, this post is archived here http://archive.is/m2AQW"$1250 - $7356 PER sanctuary . You should soon publish stats on how many you got from that" You know that Rob doesn't make money from you running a sanctuary? I don't think you understand how escrow works. The coins are not transferred or given to anyone. They are STILL YOURS. You lock them in to run a masternode, but you can withdraw them at anytime and close your node. Come on man, who sells the coins?? Who can supply 1.5 million BBP?? If not Rob and his early miner team then who? You tell me other miners are selling to other miners instead of running their own nodes archive link http://archive.is/LahUwWho has the coins and who sells them is irrelevant. Your comment was suggesting that the escrow amount went to the pool/dev which is incorrect and (whether intentional or not) very misleading. Also, I checked on Amazon, the cheapest I could find shipping (for new not used) for the bible was $3.83. So $3.83 + $5.41 = $9.24 Thats good to know. The real math being used by the API is something like the last hourly trading midpoint for product+shipping marked up about 25%, and the 25% covers the integration fee for the API and exchange rate risk - where exchange rate risk is the act of the pool Selling to recoup its dollars back that it spent on the product on its corporate credit account. Imagine if I sell $1000 of items in one day and end up with BBP, the API has to sell the BBP back to get the USD to pay the monthly invoice. Its so naive and childish to assume the API is profiting from this... Its actually quite funny.

Come on man, who sells the coins?? Who can supply 1.5 million BBP?? If not Rob and his early miner team then who? You tell me other miners are selling to other miners instead of running their own nodes archive link http://archive.is/LahUw1) The pool income is not $2490, its $249.00 and its not in the black, its in the red. The pool fee gets lowered when it gets almost back in the black-its dynamic, not static. So, kiddie math is incorrect. 2) $1250-$7356 to who? To the users who have sanctuaries, I dont get a penny from sanctuaries unless I went out to c-cex and bought 1.5 MM biblepay to run one. Kiddie math. So line #2 is zero. But, more importantly you forgot about the expenses. $60 per month for the pool node, development and maintenance - volunteered, and answering the emails every day from the pool users (I guess that is worthless too). 4) Did you forget the compassion expenses? The letter writing integration with compassion? The API for the SAN? The SAN to store the PDFs? The HTTPS certs? The web hosting? The web site host? "You are making MOUNDS of money so do not cry poor. No one is stupid here." -> Not correct, on both issues, the pool is running at a net loss - For the orphans.

EDIT: One other thing you can try- see if http://pool2.biblepay.org has the same issue? Ill bounce the pool also. Havent bounced it in over a month.

I had someone tempering with my pool login ( got an email from the pool with a pwd recovery instructions ) .
Would it make sense to force TLS ( https ) on the http port for the pool . Currently it allows both http and https . It's abvious hacking attempts will just intensify as BBP gets stronger .

Oh really? So now they are trying to brute force the login page... I just put in a feature where there will be a 5 second delay for every bad password entered. I havent had any other reports of these password links, but I guess that is the next natural hacking attempt to be made. As far as forcing SSL, it would protect those credentials when people are subject to man in the middle attacks, such as coffee shops. Its not a bad idea, but it wouldnt stop them from brute forcing the https:// login page.

1. The 8% pool fee is temporary until Rob gets back the coins lost from the "security event" that occurred 2. Miners who set themselves as not anonymous have a lower fee 3. Miners who write Orphan Letters every 1-2 months have a 0% fee (and are rewarded with BBP) 4. A 2nd Pool exists called MinersOfMen that miners can switch to if they want 5. Anyone can start a pool, the code is open source: https://github.com/biblepay/BiblePayPoolRob has provided TONS of value, I hope he reaps the fruits of his labor But you adrianbits, you have mostly complained and provided little to nothing What is your goal here? Why are you wasting energy here? Why not start your own coin? Begone troll!

I just got a message that the deal fell through [to add us to Two Top 5 exchanges in Jan 2018]. So I am modifying the client to Not mint the 3.5 BTC block.
(Note, the block was for 3.3 BTC for integration fees + .2 BTC for service fees that is why it was 3.5 btc).
I just wanted to update anyone that was waiting in the wings - not buying BBP to realize that we wont have any special deal to buy at next week, so I didnt want to stop anyone if you were holding off. Now going forward, everything is voted in by the sanctuaries.
Is there any particulair reason why they wont even want to add BBP for around $50.000 ?!? Such a huge amount and still then they don't want to add it.. Hmmm, not liking the sound of that.

bible_pay will f8000 disable big miners with multi wallet mining? xeons machines with 12c/24t= 24wallets with cpuprotlimit=8 example thanks I don't understand your example of multi wallet mining. I have a number of machines (PC, VPS, dedicated servers) in the pools ... each machine runs one biblepay wallet/software as a single miner. How is that different from multi wallet mining?

I have a number of machines (PC, VPS, dedicated servers) in the pools ... each machine runs one biblepay wallet/software as a single miner. How is that different from multi wallet mining? inblue ran tests and found that running multiple instances of BiblePay gave more HPS than running one instance of BiblePay at multiple threads: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2042657.msg22321536#msg22321536http://wiki.biblepay.org/Multiple_InstancesI remember Rob later got upset about it and changed the pool settings and inblue ended up leaving, and I think this is what spurred nsummy to create a 2nd pool. I consider it kind of an exploit, not sure if it ever got patched, but I guess Slovakia and probably others have been using it solo or on 2nd pool?

Thanks for all your hard work Rob. I think you have to learn to love the trolls. So many threads here have at least one. Adrianbits is either deliberately twisting things or has a genuine problem. Either way, it can't be much fun not living in reality. The natural reaction is to get angry when someone posts a lot of lies but I think its better to laugh it off and your post with the facts was much more powerful.
