It should only be pool mining if you added something for that in the biblepay.conf file. What do you have in your file?

"addnode=node.biblepay.org
addnode=biblepay.inspect.network
gen=1
genproclimit=1
poolport=80
pool=http://pool.biblepay.org
workerid=littlekingjohn"

"poolport=80
pool=http://pool.biblepay.org
workerid=littlekingjohn"

Remove that if you want to solo mine.

How do you do this?  This particular address has mined over 11% of all biblepay outstanding.  How does this address consistently hit these super-reward blocks?  Shouldn't the distribution of reward be more random?  This address consistently hits six figure or more rewards.  How do you consistently hit six figure reward blocks?

These are not superblocks lol There are no superblocks yet. These are just transfers..You can follow the trail and see the actually mined blocks.
Looks like a big miner moving everything slowly to a single address.

It should only be pool mining if you added something for that in the biblepay.conf file. What do you have in your file?

"addnode=node.biblepay.org
addnode=biblepay.inspect.network

genproclimit=1
poolport=80
pool=http://pool.biblepay.org
workerid=littlekingjohn"

genproclimit=1

Hi There,

I hear your pain. I increased my hash power 3x at least. Still could not get where I want. My first project on BBP to help others is on the way. Here is my own personal experience:

-hps2 takes time to increase and it tends to drop about %25 and increase again.
-huge hps not always provide the best hps2.High-end Xeon processor users probably upset about that.
-you see dudes 10k hps but producing 70k hps2 and I also managed to replicate that. Here is the basic formula. First you get lowend 20x - 30x vps servers. All these vpses run on the same worker-id you see only one of their hps and hps2 shows combined effort. I strongly suggest you to do otherwise. Why? Managing such numbers on single worker-id masks which performing well and hide problematic boxes.

This makes no sense. Why would a 4core intel processor (3 years old) outperform a 24core Skylake Xeon processor in terms of hashes per second?

What is the difference between the hps vs hps2? can you expand on the differences please.

Okay! I see BJetjCfxK3CDau6jSucLkfdgmBYNPRKJUB received 671,372 from BGZ1aofxD2G6zUiUZu2VhK1h8MnwLRqc3k, which it looks like has mined 1,655,376 since the 14th of October.  A Sanctuary since mid October is still impressive.  I thought I could buy one for less than the hardware and electricity.  On 12/7 this address minted 5977 and 6427 coins.

And then BJetjCfxK3CDau6jSucLkfdgmBYNPRKJUB received 713,599 from B6LwXsLgGPivixKiRBzzJ26xQmqD8S5osz, which it looks like has mined 727,473 since 29th of September.  On 12/8 this address minted 8873 and 5000 coins.  Those amounts seem more realistic.

I missed some details of what I was looking at.  Thanks, Alex for clearing that up.

Slovakia, it looks okay.

No worries. It was easier to get coins before as the reward you get from the block is depending on the difficulty. The maximum you can get is 20 000 coins and the minimum is 5000.

Oh wish I could have the answers. That topic re-visited a lot before. I am not the expert in the field so my explanation might be wrong. For me it is your current power. For example you have a ferrari but in certain conditions you cannot drive fast it gets such as, traffic. When the road is empty and no issues ahead it goes faster and faster. The people before blamed the road(codes), blamed the traffic lights(the pool) etc.

The more miners adding to the pool, they will take a fair share for themselves. So, we old ones will not get as much as many coins.

God Bless

On the topic of Mining Rewards in f7000:

The proof-of-bible-hash function currently has a "node mutex" in it.  Some processors max out the node mutex faster than others because of the wait queue for shared data.  If you are experiencing this I would recommend trying the 32 bit version of biblepay.  (I dont officially recommend running multiple copies of biblepay as that is not something I condone, as I like high quality nodes, in addition that workaround is going away at Christmas).

I do want to say that at Christmas F8000 will be enabled designed to solve this problem (At Christmas we are moving to a processor mutex.

and reproduce the issue there by running the latest version with -testnet flag, and comparing your f8000 hashspeed across your two reference machines.  You should see a more equal HPS in testnet right now (with 1.0.6.0+).  If that solves your problem then dont worry about just wait til Christmas for the new release.

Thats why its a moot point to put much effort into this here in Prod when the algo will be changing in only 15 days.

That brings up a good point- anyone with any last minute feature requests or bugs, please go to the testnet forum and lets talk about them now.  Alex is running valgrind and has been helping me clean up the software to prevent any crashes after Christmas.  We need to work all fixes in within the next 7 days as we have to finalize the release.  CCEX will need 14 days notice to upgrade, therefore our mandatory schedule will need to be T-14 for a Christmas release.

What is the difference between the hps vs hps2? can you expand on the differences please.

Welcome aboard Saint!

The HPS in the pool is the speed your machine is advertising to the pool.  The HPS2 is the speed the pool is measuring (for your node).
The pool pays rewards based off of HPS2.

We are temporarily leaving them both in for debugging of f8000.  Eventually we can remove HPS, and recaption HPS2 to HPS to simplify things (probably around Feb of 2018)! Sorry for the confusion for now, we have been tweaking the PoBH since inception to try to use all the processor but prevent people from gaining by running multiple copies per node and I think we finally have it ready for Christmas.

DEFLATION RATE: 18% per year

Sanctuary Escrow Requirement: 1,550,001 BBP

** NOTE ON DEFLATION **

 BiblePay seeks to be a deflationary currency relative to the G5 basket, by constantly decreasing its block reward structure by 1.5% per month.  We make the assumption that with our controlled seven minute block mint rate, coins will be bought at a normalized pace in time due to the free market pricing structure.

TOTAL CIRCULATION: 5.2 BILLION BY 2050, DECREASING BY 18% PER YEAR (200 MILLION AS OF NOVEMBER 2017)

EMISSION SCHEDULE PROJECTION: http://wiki.biblepay.org/Emission_Schedule
ECONOMICS: http://wiki.biblepay.org/Economics

DESCRIPTION:

A secure blockchain benefiting those in distress - 10% of the emission goes to sponsoring Orphans, with provable contributions, expenses contributed to compassion.com  - and future charities that are more than 75% efficient.  ** NOTE: THE COIN HAS RPC COMMANDS THAT PROVE 100% OF CONTRIBUTIONS ARE SPENT THE WAY INTENDED **

Proof of Work has been replaced with Proof Of Biblehash (POBh) - an algorithm that compensates full nodes participation,
  while preventing GPUs and ASIC by requiring full blockchain transaction referencing in the hashing function,
along with chained bible verses.  This means biblepay subsidizes full nodes that stay online.

Seven minute block targets minimize the blockchain file size, yet BiblePay does support Dash's instantsend for speedy transactions.
MasterNodes (called Sanctuaries) will come online after Christmas, allowing all expenses to be voted on and approved.

Expense receipts, to prove the sponshorship of new orphans, will be accessible from inside the wallet and we will even provide phone numbers for auditors to prove
 100% charity expenditures.  (From the rpc, type 'run contribution' to see the tithes into the foundation for a time period, and to see the outgoing sponsorship click the wallets 'Accountability' button to see
 a list of orphans, expenses, sponsorship dates, amounts, and the charity phone number, and txid).

For the first 6 months, 10% of each block will be allocated to the foundation, for sponsoring orphans at 100%.  Once per month, we will cash in anything over $40 available on an exchange, and sponsor orphans on our
volunteer time.

   After the sanctuaries go live, the 10% tithe will be diverted to an ongoing budget with DAO governance, voting, allowing the coin to function
as a dectralized autonomous charity; at that point the lead dev and volunteers will become a normal part of the community allowing the coin to run by itself.

To avoid wasting energy on meaningless SHA hashing, (or mining), biblepay introduces the BibleHash algorithm, that allows biblepay to
run on common commodity PCs, since the algorithm is resistant to porting to video cards and ASICs and is resistant to running in non-full node environments.

In addition to the low energy requirements and high efficiency of POB, the reward per block is set to be relative to the length of time the block took to solve,
(meaning that abusive hash attacks result in subsidy decreases).

The network will be high efficiency with low total energy consumption, and the charities sponsored must also be high efficiency (over 75%).
Next, we are deflationary, meaning that we start by issuing a larger amount of coins per block, and each year we tighten the supply by 10%.

The schedule is here: (205 blocks per day, 7 minute block targets):

EMISSION SCHEDULE PROJECTION: http://wiki.biblepay.org/Emission_Schedule

The block reward breakdown is as follows:
http://wiki.biblepay.org/Economics

After our sanctuaries go live, we allocate 10% of each block subsidy to our governance committe (a DAO), automatically, with 100% of that being
spent on charity, and 5% to IT expenses and PR.

Over time, our sanctuaries will become a charity governance committee, to allow our community to take over the day to day operations of the charity: voting on where the money is spent, how much is spent.
This way, we will not be centralized.

We only partner with charities over 75% efficient, meaning over 75% reach the end-user.

NO PREMINE - the lead dev starts with zero, the orphan foundation fund starts with zero, the distribution is entirely fair.  NO ICO.  The distribution curve is evenly declining with no hidden bumps early.
The self-governance committee and masternode payments are deliberately delayed until Christmas, to allow people to prepare and save up the initial requirement.  Running a sanctuary is open to anyone.
The lead dev will sponsor the first 10 orphans out of his own pocket.

Accountability:

The wallet will have a reconciliation page built in at go live, to show all charitable income and expenses.

The expenses will be auditable - to prove the money actually was spent on orphans.

This will be accomplished through the use of : an RPC audit command that tallies the orphan income from the blockchain,
and secondly, an API connection to a database that stores the Compassion expenses (until sanctuaries go live), with auditable backing contact info for each expense.
We will also provide a web page with pictures of the sponsored orphans clicable from the wallet to show our investors what good we are doing.
And finally- we will maintain a copy of receipts in order to maintain 100% accountability.

Future Feature:
Pay to Preach, in wallet ineractive prayer rooms.

ROADMAP:
JULY-DECEMBER 2017: GO LIVE, SPONSOR ORPHANS MONTHLY
JANUARY 2018:  MASTERNODES (SANCTUARIES) GO LIVE
FEBRUARY 2018: MARKETING, IN WALLET PRAYERS

MAY 2018: MARKET BIBLEPAY AS A 401K ALTERNATIVE

Novel distinct features of BiblePay:

Proof of Bible Hash algorithm (POBh), getblockinfo shows the chained bible verses required to solve the block,
sending money exposes a Tithe checkbox - allowing 10% to be gifted to the orphan foundation,
wallet has an in-wallet prayer system, allowing a user to send out a prayer request to the network or store prayers in the chain for the community to pray for from the overview page,
Transactions support in-chain messages, Instant Send, Voting, Decentralized Automated Charity Governance Committee, Repentance of Sins, Contributing to the orphan foundation checkbox, and reading the sin list and various staple prayers in wallet.

Yes, I think we should add features such as BiblePay University, so we can have Bible Tests, and reward those who take the tests with variable amounts of BBP (depending on the grade).

Thank you for your positive comments, and the plug - but Please don't quote the whole OP LOL as it will spam the board, thanks a lot for understanding.

Dash will release the Evolution upgrade soon with Dapi and much more. Dash is the future.

Unless you have a way to keep the dash core business model and ADD Stratis features. That would be great.

Also, FYI, there is already a Stratis fork name Obsidian.

Quick update on State of The Biblepay, and a request for any constructive criticism on a potential new idea.

I took a look at Obsidian, and Im happy to say that so far it is actually a port of Stratis with the Obsidian-QT wallet - meaning it does not yet include any Prod c# code, or c# UI.  The UI in the Obsidian-QT wallet is the same as our Biblepay-QT wallet (minus the masternodes).  The thing they are releasing at Christmas is messaging for Android - not c# web UI either.

Thats good because that means we have a wide open space to do something pioneering with Stratis still.

We might not be the first as this is a HUGE project.  I think it will take a quarter to release a proof of concept.

But its good to know we might be able to focus on this project for something very original and bright for BiblePay.

I was thinking of a huge potential side effect we might inherit if we ever have a c# wallet.  We could literally add hundreds of gospel features in the wallet without breaking compatibility with a very quick release schedule as the codebase would be pool compatible, and in addition we could add tons of windows forms features to the code.
