Sorry buddy. I only buy and hoard MEC. Haven't sold a single one, and don't plan on selling for a long time. Somebody sold 80K last night, so there is definitely some available.

Kimoto,
In the upcoming release, are the block times and difficulty adjustment going to change or are we staying at 2.5 minutes and 22.5 minutes?
Thanks

How so? Why do some people sell 80,000 MEC just before the big event? Or for that matter buy "Hundreds of Thousands" all the sudden. The tension is high for block 63k! Waiting for Kimoto to let the fox out of the box. Insert darkproton's last post here.

sup MEC!!
only 42 million Megacoins will ever exist. if you invest heavily today, I think you might be one of the wealthiest people in the world someday. if Megacoin actually does become anonymous and untraceable, then it will be better than Bitcoin. now is an incredible buying opportunity.
I've bought all I can afford already, but wish I had more. I'm investing for the long term: I do think Megacoin will eventually be the worldwide currency everyone uses.
With a MIT degree in finance and minor in economics, thats saying something. and at 3:15 took the hired help back to HomeDepot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXiuphGuvh0

I must say that the qt client is the best looking one of all crypto currencies, bitcoin included. I'm going to support this alt just because of that. Image is very important in marketing.
Sadly I only see 4-5 different posters in this thread, arguing back and forth 90% of the time. Not really much going on other than that. No long time regulars, not much serious discussion. Just rants and animated gifs. Smells like a bunch of 15 year olds who are bored in school. Doesn't inspire confidence.

In my experience if there's only four or five trolls about on a forum for a software/game then that usually means everyone else is happy

I don't recall much arguing back and forth here? As far as long time regulars, Megacoin is only a few months old. How many long time regulars were around when Litecoin was 3 months old? Your assumptions smell like a 13 year old's logic. We don't need to inspire confidence. We are here because Megacoin, and it's developer give us confidence. Like the other 3-4 posters in this thread, I'm Just trying to get my share before people like you figure it out.

I guess Kimoto has a lot of other things to do (according to the press). Let the developers do their things. It will take some time to implement new things (if you know what i mean)... If you belive in MEC stay here an grab some while they are cheap yet, if not come back and see wats happened later... Just a hint: Megacoin is carrying some secrets.

How do you know all these? I prefer transparency in order to invest, the Anoncoin guys are very transparent and open...

My Megacoin client crashes all the time. I've downloaded the enitre block chain again a few times. Reinstalled the client again, and so on. I can receive coins and after a while it complains that cannot write to a block file, and I can start all over again with the chain. Tried to send a coin and the same error occurs. Restarted the client, tried the same and now it was okay (Tequilablob just got a whole free coin!).
But these crashes happen way too much. What can cause that? Or what could solve it? Anynone know?
