I don't understand why Kimoto continues to miss self imposed deadlines...source up on github "today" or even tomorrow for that matter, big fat nope.
I wouldn't exactly call that a deadline, especially a self-imposed one. lol If Kimoto said he would do it, I'm sure he will.

There is already an Ebay/Bitmit type store in the works. If it was a Newegg type store, we would have been up and running a month ago.
I sure wish it was live. I would love to start listing stuff on there for MEC all day long. I remember when FTC got their auction site, and I think it was a real boost for them. We are doing our best to try and present something that will set the standard for all auction sites, and this one will only use crypto-currency. I can't spill any details yet, or even make any promises other than say we have been working on it since early April and still have a lot to do. One thing I will say is the site will use only Megacoin, Bitcoin, Litecoin, and possibly CGB.

Your Killing me. I would love to see this crypto wet dream come online now! It would be nice to be able to set the auction to only accept a certain coin at listing time. I would rather help promote MEC more than LTC or BTC. I dont even have any excitement over CGB. sorry.

FFS, Cryptsy is a about the worse in exchanges recently. every time there is a little rally on MEC, cryptsy goes offline for the market to cool down. Talk about frustrating. Cant buy, cant sell. cant get your coin back from canceled orders. Lol its a joke. Amateur hour.

If anyone is interested, I have a limited supply of Megacoin bumper stickers available. They are much glossier than the photo shows, and made of heavy vinyl rated for 3 years outdoor use. 400 MΣC for the 1st sticker, shipped between 2 pieces of cardboard. 300 MΣC for each additional sticker. Not looking to make any money, just cover my expenses. Sure to be a collectors item. hey vtr99, I'd like to get a couple of those bumper stickers, are they still 300 MΣC each? I'll enjoy driving around Las Vegas with it on my car. (in a few years from now, people looking back at this will think it's crazy to have spent 300 MΣC on a bumper sticker!) thank you Kimoto and everyone who's doing good things for the future of Megacoin! I've been reading all the great entertaining posts here every day. (if this forum had a facebook "like" button, I'd be pressing "like" on most of them.)

Cryptsy is undergoing maintenance/upgrade give them a f break already -_-.
They've done the upgrade, and still have issues. They are charging fees for their services, and trying to sell shares in themselves, they should be held to a business standard, not a hobbist one. And for the last few weeks, the service has been very poor. I don't think there has been a single run of 2-3 days where trading and/or deposits weren't frozen at at least one point.

My primary focus, both now and in the future will be Megacoin. LTC and BTC don't need our help. But since they are well established, I believe it is to our advantage to show MΣC as an up and coming alternative, and hopefully win some converts. It is to MΣC's advantage to have a good relationship, and respect for the rest of the (civilized) crypto community. The entire market cap of all Crypto-coins combined (including Bitcoin), is still microscopic on the world financial stage. I said from the beginning that the FTC/WDC/PXC partnership was a fiasco waiting to happen. But I do think it is to our benefit to have strategic allies, cooperation, and good will in the community.

Very calm and relaxed Trading action on cryptsy is very low, and lots of projects going on in the background. How suspenseful
