Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Is wallet 4.0.1 oficial? Why there is not it on the first page?
I just installed 4.0.0...should I install this one now? What's the diff with the new new version from just the new version? What's the deal with v4.0.1? Does the 4.0.0 Stake or not? Or do we need v4.0.1 for Staking? lupanar's previous posts answered that the 4.0.0 wallet needs 36hrs to mature for staking after block 180,000, but the last post states that 4.0.1 enables staking? If we upgrade to 4.0.1 do the coins need another 36 hours to mature once again? Also what information can you give us regarding the almost daily chain splits/downed pools? Whats the problem and fix here? Thanks.

Also what information can you give us regarding the almost daily chain splits/downed pools? Whats the fix here? Thanks. If you look here: https://github.com/216k155/lux/releases/You will see that for Relaese 4.0.1 it says the changes are: Activated PoS and Masternode Improved wallet UI From that, I'm assuming they fucked up a bit with 4.0.0 and 4.0.1 is needed to do staking. I have downloaded 4.0.1 and copied the exe over the backed up older one and it seems to run just fine. Still no staking available but at least maybe when it does become available/coins have matured, I will be staking....I think. Agree that this should be highlighted and made common knowledge.

Wallet 4.0 was an alpha release and didnt support POS and Masternodes yet. Release 4.0.1 is beta where POS and MN features activated. Coins need to remature again for start to staking from block 180k, so block height that need orientate to is 182160, but as net currently have a lack of blocks per day due to POS disabled so reaching that block can take more than 36hrs. Lets take a patience and let time and blockchain do their job

Windows 4.0.1 every time you start, you need to synchronize. The pool does not receive payments.

When the wallet is downloaded from the link above the resulting version when it is running is: LUX Core version v4.0.0.0-996bada-dirty Does this translate to 4.0.1?

Well
There is a Problem, I mine but not receiving any coin Is this Problem with wallet or Pool?
The way to determine that would be to look at your payout address on a block explorer to see if it shows payouts. Also check the mining pool's page to see if it shows a payout. I changed the Pool But how can i use Block Explorer?

But how can i use Block Explorer?
Like with most cryptocurrencies, the amount of coin associated with your address (LUX address in this case) is determined by the distributed blockchain. Websites are available that will search the blockchain for your address. For LUX, one explorer website is here: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/lux/You can put in your LUX address (or any LUX address) to see how much LUX coin is associated with that address.

Trust can be built up, I would be willing to risk say ~$250 on a 1/1000th share rather than ~$2500 on a 1/100th share. Once I start seeing returns, I would then consider increasing my number of shares and maybe ultimately exceeding 1/100th share.
I think there is a hell of a lot more people who would get in at the ~$250 price range. You could incentivize 1/100th shares with a slight discount on the fees as compared to the smaller shares.
We aren't all whales, give us a chance to get in on the ground floor and we will take you up on your excellent idea.
You can put me down for at least 1 1/1000th share possibly 2 if you decide to go with that idea and that is just me getting started.
That makes a lot of sense. My only concerns are that it would be a lot more work to get 1,000 people to do something rather than 100 (though, I'm sure many would go for multiple shares). Also, there would be more maintenance on my end making sure if someone wanted to withdraw that I would work to fill their spot(s) quickly. I will think it over. If anyone else has any thoughts, please chime in or contact me privately. What I might do is setup 1 masternode with 100 shares, then depending on demand and appetite from others, I could start another with 1000 shares. Some in the 100 share might want to reinvest profits in the second, plus it opens it up to more people. And by then I should have things more automated so it would be easier to manage.

Hey everyone, I am putting together a shared masternode for those of us who want to participate in one, but are not able to lock up the full amount. Masternode earnings are currently significantly better and more consistent than staking alone.
A masternode requires 16,120 LUX. To participate in the shared masternode, I am dividing it into 100 "shares". Each share is 161.2 LUX. You can take as many shares as you wish, if they are available. There are a max of 100 shares.
Payouts will be made every week to the address you choose when you make your initial deposit.
Security will be the utmost priority. The masternode will run on a dedicated Linux machine with all unnecessary ports blocked.
5% of masternode earnings are retained as service fee to pay for hardware, hosting, and my labor. There is a 1 LUX setup fee to help with initial costs.
Withdrawals may be requested 60 days after depositing. Upon receiving a withdrawal request, I will seek out someone to fill your spot (starting with the waitlist). If no replacement is found within 15 days, your withdrawal will process regardless (unless you are willing to wait longer while we look for a replacement).
If you want to participate, send an email to luxmasternode@gmail.com. I will respond with a unique address to deposit your LUX. Please also include your withdrawal address that you would like to receive your payouts, and eventually your deposit back.
In the future, I plan on the following improvements:
Dead man's switch: All user deposits will automatically be sent to their withdrawal addresses if I am idle for 30 days. This would protect investors from something happening to me.
Web interface with stats. See profits from the node in real time. See past and future payouts.
My background: I have been an IT Director for 15 years. I have experience with Linux, Python, PHP, MySQL, and a number of other languages and technologies. I also have business and finance experience. At my previous job I was partially responsible for security of $2b USD in assets. I have been a follower of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for years and am a big believer in LUX. Personally, I plan to be a long term holder of LUX and will reinvest my profits into staking or additional masternodes.
Setup a web UI to do this, hard to trust it otherwise. Eg. MUE does masternode shares with mymue.co.uk
